Date men and women from United States. Having been divorced for several years and having worked on myself during that time, I'm looking to take the next step in my life. I tend to be a one-woman person and am looking for a long term relationship, but that will only happen with someone who becomes my best friend. I don't have any particular ideal other than someone with whom I can have an intelligent, honest conversation and a good laugh. I'm ultimately looking for someone with whom we can build the kind of open, honest relationship in which all of intellectual, emotional, and physical intimacy can flourish. You also may want to know that I have an elementary school age son who is with me on a regular basis. Because many people my age have all grown children or no children, this may be an issue for some. It also helps explain why I sometimes quote Dr. Seuss or Disney movies!

Date men and women from Alabama, United States. Most of the time I'm quoting movie lines, relaxing at the beach with my Juxtapoz magazine, or exploring San Diego. I love going to the Padre's - Charger games as well as staying active, either at the gym, hiking or some volleyball.
But I still love staying mellow with a movie, thrift shopping or checking out new art galleries. Traveling is also very high on my list, I've lived in Boston, and San Francisco as well as all over San Diego so I love a change of scenery.

I'm 31 years old and truly have only felt those butterflies twice--but those damn butterflies--they're what I live for. I found them once at the ripe age of 22 and again this past summer. It allowed me to believe again.. You can't force chemistry, but when you have it with someone coupled with being attracted to them, well.. it's just awesome.
