Date someone special from Alabama, United States. I grew up in Athens and I just moved back last year after spending 10 years in Vail Co. working for the ski resort. I really enjoyed the experience but grew tired of the life in a resort town and decided to move back to Athens where life is a little more relaxed to focus on a career and a meaningful relationship. I still have friends and family in the area that I'm really close with and it's great to be back in the area. I missed living in the south I'm originally from Mississippi and it feels good to be back home. When I get the chance I visit with friends in Co. and do a little snowboarding. I am a computer geek at heart and I'm always tinkering on computers. Computers are my career so it is great that I have a job that I really enjoy. Most of my friends are married with busy family lifestyles so I don't get to see them a whole bunch and I'm finding it a little difficult to meet new people in the area. I would like to find someone to spend so quality time with and hopefully more.
I'm getting old so I try not to tear up a dance floor as much as I used to, I like going out on the town i'm just more about conversation these days.

Well Ive lived all over the place ... I was born in Arizona , grew up in L.a. california for 16 years . Moved to Maui Hawaii and was there 13 years , up to Canada 3 years , and down to Alabama, where I own my home , witch is paid for and Im happy about that :) ... plus ive visted alot of places around the world.

I guess I am modest because this is very difficult for some reason. If I sit her and describe how good looking I am and how intelligent I am then, you or whomever will think man he is stuck on himself. On the flip side, if I describe how kind and gentle I am, and what a nice guy I am; your thinking, "he must be a ASS"!!!!
So I guess I am a skeptic. HMMM????
No seriously, I am a down-to -earth person that can find humor in ALMOST any situation. I enoy a lot of things and will try almost anything once, with the exception for food. I don't know why, maybe my parents made me eat horrible things and I have blocked it out...?? kidding, I don't have any issues like that. I love my family and have dinner with the whole family about once a week. I have two sisters one older and one younger. My older sister has one beautiful, wonderful, hilarious daugther and another baby on the way. (don't know the sex yet, but hoping for a boy)SENSE-OF-HUMOR is number 1. YOU must have a good SENSE-OF-HUMOR.
I enjoy lots of different things, so I can't say that there is any other attribute of my "PERFECT" mate that is important. I think people should learn from their relationships, GOD knows I have learned lots from all of mine, intimate or just friends. I like learning about the quirks and the small details of a person and the only way to really do that is over time.
