Welcome to my profile, I like to think I'm hilarious. Not really but I am funny from time to time and rarely serious. I love music. I play the guitar and dabble a little in other instruments. The guitar is my weapon of choice though. I just recently retired from running sound for bands. It was pretty much all volunteer for 5 years of my life and just no longer feel it worth the trouble. Want to teach me how to play the piano? Along with the whole musician thing I'm fairly athletic and enjoy being active whether it is playing a sport, working out or just being outside.
As far as listening to music I like all kinds of genres. My favorite band is Coheed and Cambria, I have almost everything they've ever recorded. Other favorites would be Iron and Wine, Ray Lamontagne, DMB, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the Civil Wars. I love watching movies. I love reading books. I've read a lot of Stephen King and I like his stuff a lot but my favorite work of fiction would be The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I just like to know things, period. My favorite board game would be Trivial Pursuit. My favorite game show would be Jeopardy. So sure, call me a nerd if you want.
Anyway, onto what I am looking for from a potential date:
I'm looking for a girl to share my faith with and who would hopefully be the one I would spend the rest of my life with. I need someone to push me in the areas I'm weakest in and to have the opportunity to be strong in their weakest areas. That is what it all boils down to.

Whomever I date should also be a great singer and be able to make me a great singer and better guitar player. With that we'll form a band like the Civil Wars or the White Stripes, I'm ok with either, name it something awesome involving some form of Gap or Mill or some other cool word and make millions. On a more serious note, I will say that I was born in Mobile, AL. I moved to Nashville when I graduated high school to pursue a music career. It did not go as well as planned, so I enrolled in college and thought I may need to do something more altruistic and got my masters in social work. I work with terminally ill patients and their families in Hospice.
