I have 2 boys - 11 and 16 and love being a dad, for the most part. I keed, I keed! My older son lives with me but recently went to his mothers for this transition. My other son lives with his mother. They are my boys and I love them.
I'm Down to earth but enjoy getting all classy-like when appropriate. T-shirt and jeans using a sledge hammer while you watch through the window sipping a glass of wine ;-) Then coming in, getting dressed up for a drive into the city to a quiet dinner followed by a jazz club and a bit of dancing. THEN..., pass out on the way home (you know, the sledge hammer from earlier). Obviously just kidding but you get my point: I don't like falling into only one category all the time (unless that category in your eye's is 'sexy', or even 'idiot' -- but only if you roll your eyes when you say the 'idiot' option). It's important to be diverse.
I want to sweep a girl off her feet. I'm not throwing that out there as some 'line' (I hate that, though some are funny) but I've always been that way since I can remember. If you meet someone and start falling in love you have to 'need them' as if you can't stand it. Sure we're all grown up now but those 'butterflies' need to be there in full effect. Hopeless romantic - absolutely.
I would like a woman who can take care of herself - having said that I will still open her door, send her flowers at work, and write her a love letter. I will always value those things.
I enjoy doing projects around the house (a real handyman ya see - mmmerrrr!). I guess you'd say that one of my favorite things is to laugh, and make people laugh but am plenty serious at other times. My first passion in activities was cycling, then I went on to motorcycles - riding and racing. But now, I'm considering cycling again, just not as much as before and not as 'skinny'.
I also like drawing and painting when time permits. I can't leave out another passion in my life: flying.

I like balance and have concluded that staying at home, chilling, enjoying your lady, cooking, mowing the lawn, having a good dinner, and talking are just as important as having a drink, getting all gussied up, DANCING, music, and kissing like you're a teen-ager. Chill at home - and go out for some fun. BOTH is great, too much of either isn't.
