I was raised in a non denominational church, where I believe it's more important to have a relationship with God than go by a title. I love to dance (line dancing or freestyle - if you like to dance, bonus points!), and enjoy Country, Christian, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz music, going to concerts, the movies. My favorite music is Country. Nothing puts me in a reflective, romantic, sappy, or (sometimes - lol) girl-empowered mood like a great country tune. I'm busy so don't watch a lot of TV or movies, but when I do, I love clean comedies, classics, drama, and of course, chick flicks. My TV tastes range from 24 and NCIS, to Army Wives and Grey's Anatomy.
When I'm not working or doing homework, I spend time with my dogs (have been involved in showing for 20 years) and working on the house I purchased last year.I'm currently in school for my MBA...2 classes left.
While I understand we may not agree on everything, it's important that I share basic values with a relationship partner: views in politics, relationship with Christ that is just that, a relationship, not a legalistic approach; respect me as a person, and I'll do the same for you. You don't have to understand anything about showing or raising dogs, riding horses, or dancing...you just need to understand their importance to me and I'll do the same for you with your hobbies and interests. Bonus points if you can country line dance and/or two-step, but I'm not looking for someone to change their tastes just for me.
I'm independent, have my life together (as much as one can anyway =), but look forward to finding that person I connect with on all levels so we can share our thoughts, dreams, laughter and tears together. I'm not looking for someone to complete me, but to compliment me. My friends say that I am honest and dependable. I have a great work ethic. When you love what you do you never "work" a day in your life. I am a very creative person. Its true ideas come to me anytime and anywhere. I love to come up with concepts for things and see them be put to use. I use them in my job daily. A good time at a pub has always been my choice. I donРІР‚в„ўt mind watching the big game either. I cheer for the Dodgers, Kings, and Lakers. I like going to movies. I make it a rule that a guy does not have to go with me to see a chick flick. There are plenty of movies out there to see. As far as the small screen goes I like to watch Castle, NCIS, Royal Pains, Warehouse 13, and Big Bang Theory to name a few. Not much for "reality" TV. Summer is awesome because I love going to the beach. ItРІР‚в„ўs one of the greatest ways to spend the day.
I am looking for someone I can hang out with and have fun with and see where it goes. Someone who is honest, loyal, and likes me for being me. I want to be with someone who makes everyday worth waking up for. I think that communication is one of the key factors in a relationship. If nothing more, than I can hope to have gained a friend.
