Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Steamboat Springs, 38 year old

Date someone special from United States. I like candlelight dinners and long walks on the beach. Just kidding, I love the beach but I would rather be surfing or swimming. For dinners I want to be able to see your face so I can tell if you find me as funny and charming as I think I am being.
A little about me, I have three beautiful daughters who are my number one thing in life. Every day they make me more proud of the wonderful people they are growing into. I have them half the time giving me the ability to have my own life as well.
I would like to find someone who likes the outdoors and is up to get out and enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. Everyday is a chance to find something that makes you smile and every experience a chance to learn something new about yourself. A partner in crime to launch some new adventures with would be fun, if it goes any further than that great if not new friends are cool too. There is so much more I could say but being that whatever is in my head usually comes out my mouth, if there is anything else you want to know feel free to ask.
Just be ready for an honest answer.

Meet people from United States. I'm a pretty down to earth kind of guy. I strongly believe that any day spent on a river is a Good Day! I believe that you need to spend time out side, year round, regardless of the weather, or your soul starts to wither.
I like to read, but from time to time, I watch to much TV. I'm a very good cook, I learned from my mother, who learned from her mother. From time to time, I bake my own bread, I brew my own beer, I tie my own flies... but I also buy Bread, beer & I go to the local fly shop...
I treat people the way I like to be treated. I try to find the good in the world & to be good.
I hate these little essays about my self... trying to be truthful w/o being pretensions.
I don't need the fancy stuff, but I know how to make anything look gourmet. My default position is to look on the bright side of things, w a healthy dose of realism. I'm a professional archaeologist which means I get to spend my working hours outside. Best Job in the world.

Date a man from United States. Steamboat has been my home for 14 years. Born and raised in Indiana, I moved to Boulder, CO for college, and took an internship with a ski tour company that led me all over North America, skiing and working in some of the best ski towns on earth. The pay was lousy, but the experience was priceless.
I love the mountains: skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and most other things outdoors (sans hunting and fishing). I love most sports, especially the NHL. I play electric guitar, and it gets loud from time to time. I tinker with computers and other types of technology. I have a professional career, and I operate a small side business as well. I work hard, but it doesn't define, nor consume me. I strive to maintain a healthy balance in my personal and professional life, and I seek someone who adds to the balance, rather than disrupts it.
I like to have fun with my friends, but I don't care much for the bar scene. I enjoy great live music, but I prefer hanging out with friends for happy hours, coffee talk, or cold beers after long bike rides. I like to be social, but I also really enjoy a quiet night at home to cook, create, and catch up on life.
A good match for me should be a woman with an active lifestyle, a good work ethic, and an outgoing spirit. A good match is a smart woman with a great sense of humor and adventure. A woman who is happy, spontaneous, romantic, and who most definietly enjoys children. (...because I have 2 of them.)
My incredible children keep me grounded, motivated, entertained, and constantly on my toes. I build awesome forts, play in the snow, bake cookies, do arts and crafts, and read bedtime stories. I am the sneakiest tooth fairy / santa clause on the planet, and I can hold my own on the Wii.
I'm a damn good catch...smart, handsome, funny, responsible, and inspiring. And humble too.
I have two adorable kids under my wing, and I'm simply looking for a like-minded companion to share in life's adventures.
If you enjoy the outdoors, laughing, sports, bacon, rock and roll, and roller coasters, we'll become great friends...maybe more!

Meet a soulmate from United States. My friends think i am funny, i like hanging with friends and family, my best accomplishment is being a superviser in my company. Date single man from United States. I've been in Steamboat for a little more than four years now, and while I love the town and our Rocky Mountain surroundings, I would like to find someone special to share this beautiful place with. I'm past the age where I feel the need to go out to the bars every single night, and work can keep me busy, so I'm hoping that this might be the best way to meet that special someone. About that special somone.....I'm attracted to outgoing, vibrant women with a good sense of humor who are intelligent and confident in themselves and are not afraid to show their funny, goofy side with me. I admire and respect independent women with a strong sense of themselves, and motional intelligence is important to me as well. Common interests can be important, but I think it's important to be independent and your own person as well. Also, I should mention that I feel drama is something to be enjoyed on either the small or large screen or on the stage, not something to negatively affect the start of a healthy relationship.
A little bit about me; I'm 37 years old and a native Iowan. I moved to Steamboat Springs back in the summer of 2007, mainly due to my whole immediate family living here and that it was also time for me to move on from where I previously was. I work for a local well-know non-profit that works with adults with developmental disabilities. It's a good job and field to be in, although like with any job and field some days are better or worse than others. It is a full-time job for me, but one with some pretty non-traditional hours, definitely not a 9 to 5 job! When I'm not working I enjoy sports (and my fantasy football team, although I'm having a pretty crappy season so far), skiing (looking forward to the upcoming season), reading, certain TV shows, and working out. I've also just gotten involved with the local Pirate Theatre troupe and am in their current show and am really enjoying being on the stage again (I was a drama nerd in high school). As I mentioned before, I'm not much of a late-night bar guy anymore these days, but I do enjoy happy hour every once in a while.
