Someone once said that living in Colorado is like living in a postcard….and I agree. What a beautiful place. I would love to find someone that enjoys hiking and driving in the mountains and finding out-of-the-way pubs, restaurants, cabins and bed-and-breakfasts. Just give me any excuse to take a trip to Estes Park, Breckenridge or someplace we haven't been before. Skiing is one of my favorite things as well and….I hope to get on a snowboard this season.
If I had more time I would travel...around Colorado...around the US...around the world. I've traveled a bit but there is so much more to see.

I returned to Colorado in 1991 and retired from the Military in 1992. I am 57 and in reasonably good shape for that age, I work out some but I am not fanatical about it, frankly don’t like it that much but it is a necessary evil. I enjoy a nice dinner either at home or out on the town. Good steaks, fresh seafood, Chinese or Sushi are my some of my favorites but enjoy most every kind of cuisine and will try anything once. I enjoy cooking as well; I’ve been told I am pretty good at it. My musical tastes run from classic rock to just plain classical. Not much of a hip hop or grunge fan though.
Hard for me to say what exactly I’m looking for in a lady. Certainly physical attraction comes into play; let’s face it that is the way the good Lord set it up, but certainly not the only thing, or even the most important thing needed in a good relationship. Although recently retired from a 30 year career in management (with one company!), I now have the opportunity to pursue my passions for music performance, music instruction, participate in triathlons and serve the community through volunteer work. I am an early riser who loves to greet the sunrise and take in its positive energy while swimming, biking, or running. I've never been much for coffee sipping, lazying about in slippers and a bathrob, reading the latest tragedy in the newspaper or sitting on a couch, watching TV. After all, how much fun could that possibly be? Rigorous exercise and maintaining a holistic diet and generally immersing the mind, body and soul in positive energy are key components in my life but, I also keep all of that in check so that I can enjoy family, friends, great tasting Italian food, a glass of chianti and anything chocolate!
