Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Milliken, 33 year old

Date men and women from Colorado, United States. I know we're all getting older, but let's take it a day at a time. Rather not eat dinner alone tonight? I'm a big fan of dinner. I do it it all the time. Keep dreaming about meeting a sweet, understanding guy at the coffee shop? Why not bring your own sweet understanding guy with you? (Pssst...I do like coffee). I'm just an average looking guy, with an average life, average job, average car...but it's something to be. I've never been a player, I've never cheated (Really, I have a hard time figuring out one woman at a time. I'd be worthless to two of you.) I quit worrying about cool years ago, and I really like who I've become. Confident, self-aware, and modest. Remember the optimistic side of dating, before cynicism was your wingman? I know who I'd like to find, but I've had some great times with ladies that don't fit that mold. Be you and let's see if we're still smiling when the night ends.
I moved to Colorado from Austin to get reacquainted with nature and myself. I've been on the search for true me over the last few years, but I'll save the introspective BS for another time and just keep this light instead. Currently, I'm working two jobs and spending my free time working out and hanging out with my 2 month old nephew. I miss my friends and the Austin nightlife, but I needed to shift gears and slow it all down for a while.
Father Time is undefeated, but I'm going to make him catch me before I call it quits. I'm looking for someone else on the run from him, someone interested in finding the balance between planning for the future and living in the now. She has to like live music, regardless of genre. A tolerance for football, or the ability to fake it, will go a long way. Also, I like a woman that can call me on my BS when I need it, whether or not I think I need it. I'm great with your tastes and mine being different if somewhere in there we find common ground.
There's a siren in the mountains calling my name. I had the opportunity to travel while I was in the Navy, and I kinda like being a stranger in a new place. I've always wanted to learn to ski and snowboard, and the window to fall down a mountain and get back up may be closing. I'd love to find some good live music here. At this point, I'd settle for your brother's cover band. Musically I'm into Dr. Dog, Delta Spirit, The Avett Brothers, The Shins, anything involving Jack White or Dave Grohl, and old favorites like Willie, Dylan, Jimi, The Band, The Animals. I could go on, but this isn't MySpace.
I overdid my 20's in many respects. I'm actually enjoying getting back into shape. I can do things now that I haven't done in 12 years. (Diet and exercise, who knew?) I found the box that contained my sense of adventure and moved 1000 miles away from some beautiful friends, just to see if I had what it takes to be free. My mind, body, and spirit are all healthier than any point in my adult life. I've got health insurance and a 401k. I own a few shirts with buttons. Point being, I'm on the way back up and I understand if life happened on the way to now.
I'm not sure what else to say, so I'll finish with I cook and I'm clean, your mother will like me, and you having guy friends won't intimidate me. I root for the underdog, I hold open doors, and I still say "yes ma'am" and "no ma'am". If you would like to meet an honest, hardworking, reliable, fun-loving guy, I'd love to hear from you. (I'm a little shy about this whole Match thing. Don't be afraid to wink or email.)
I'm doing this Colorado thing with or without you, but I sure would love the company.
