Date a man from Colorado, United States. I've been called foodie and travel pretty well, snore a little, and laugh often. My eyes sparkle and my cats think I'm a littermate. I love to cook, sing, and have fun wth my friends.
I enjoy sitting on Trail Ridge with hot chai watching the Perseids and elk in August. For kicks, I go to local shows (DCPA), take cooking classes, sing with a local Chorale, and go to some Rox games to watch the people. I contribute to local charities, my magnetic poetry is free verse, and I can go from tux to mud in minutes. Stealing some ad copy that resonates for me: "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes .. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." Some days it's interesting to be social libertarian in a blue-red world AND with most of the good Boy Scout qualities and enough life experience I can usually make the paradox work.
you've gotta love cats, enjoy live theatre, local acoustic shows, sunrise walks and eclipses, and deal with the challenges of life. ...like most kinds of live music, and know (or, want to know) what Moscato d'Asti, old vines Garnacha, and Lapsang Souchong taste like. Hopefully, you sing and/or play a melody instrument (tambura, mando, or uillean pipes would be fun ;-) ), really don't mind being the second best cook in my house and recognize subtle humor. “...you begin to appreciate the workings of your mind and the workings of the situations that are given to you. You have some sense of natural celebration. You have a sense of healthiness and togetherness. You have a sense of openness and possibilities. You have settled into your world and are not threatened by possibilities of other worlds. You can perform your activities so freely, so well, so beautifully. There is a kind of tidiness throughout your whole life.” You know who wrote those words (or don't, and are curious enough to write and ask) ... you dance with your Spirit and Coyote laughs with joy as you inspire and change the world from the inside out.
The stuff I've rambled on about includes essential items, some fair-trade items, and some in the nice column. Consider all of this as a starting point for conversation. None of it is absolute and none of it is unconscious.
I'm guessing that you'll probably win at Scrabble but not cribbage or Mille Bornes. If some of these words tickle your interest, take a chance, be disarming and send a note. I’ll write back but I'll block winks just 'cuz. I've let the membership lapse and found the same functionality somewhere else... seriously, look over there at the free match partner site (check the bottom of your browser window) ;-) unless you're a premium member here, I won't be able to read your lovely e-mail
Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. I enjoy most activities and probably would be game for trying most anything new. Ocean activities would be considered a plus. I really enjoy surfing on Maui. My newest challenge is playing the guitar; I have come to the realization ; I may not have rock/ pop star qualities ; however its fun trying. I also enjoy hiking ( Maui and Colorado have alot in this area ), I do love to travel and see new places. I have visited quite a few ; I am looking forward to visiting many more. Italy and Spain are on my most recent wish list . I enjoy going to movies . If there is live music, I will be there.I would like to meet someone who is happy, funloving, energetic, but also can be laid back. Interest in traveling would be considered a plus. Road bicycling and Hockey have become new interests of mine; would love to bike some of europe
Date single man from Colorado, United States. I'm fun, laid back, and looking for someone lacking drama. I could go on for hours but what would I say? I mean honestly, the chances that you will actually read all of this are slim, especially if you have ADD or a third grade education. Now, we can thin the herd...
Meet people from Lyons, United States. Alrighty, I'm 50 now....
Single, two kids, live in a bit of a smallish town and by golly, somebody's missin out, so I'll do what I can. :)
My favorite things to do right now are coach my boy's basketball team, take my boy and girl skiing and on various world adventures, and hang out around home with them. They're with me half the time. I've been glad to get them on some nice adventures, including exploring Costa Rica on a two week trip that was only scheduled for one (had some splainin to do after that one to people like coaches and moms) snorkelling on the Big Island in Hawaii (we're talkin stayin in the 'loveshack', not the Hilton), Canyonlands, regular summer trips to the high altitude wilderness in Wyoming, regular ski trips to Telluride; and, this year to Cozumel for more snorkelling.
What I DON'T like doing is thinking to myself, "jeesh, coulda planned ahead to avoid this way to quiet night without the kids". I've got a great little life on the river North of Boulder, great job and home; and, now that the kids have started to suggest that maybe SOMEDAY they'd have more fun on our adventures if they "brought a friend", then I figure its time to take some action. I haven't quite mentioned to them that Daddy might also enjoy "bringing a friend" on some of these excursions.
I'm a lawyer in a previous life, and now produce music festivals.
I like my spring vacations to be somewhere warm, winter skiing, fall on the river in Nebraska hunting with my cousins and uncles and summer fly fishing in the high altitude wilderness of Wyoming.
I see alot of live music, of all kinds, and would surely love a compatriot for those missions as well as a co-conspirator for some cozy nights at home for some wine and a movie.
I'm not eager to leave my cozy home in the winter and drive into Boulder... but could be tempted for a nice dinner and music.
I'm not in great shape, and have been fairly sedentary this year. But, I can still get down the mountain on skiis, up and down the basketball court, wade across the river, hike through the mountains.
But a hiking/rompings/skiing/eating playmate would probably help alot!
And, was once told that I don't kiss like an American.
So there's yer Reader's Digest version.
Now what?
Date men and women from Colorado, United States. Like to make people laugh, explore new places in the mountains, Fixing things around the house, go for walks together and just talk. I like to grill and entertain guests, and yet I like to hold someone safe and warm in my arms next to a river with a campfire stargazing.
I am seeking a female that likes small town life and don't take life forgranted, If you don,t mind me opening doors, walking and holding you,
and give you shoulder & neck rubs, and keep a smile on your face, and like what u hear so far then you are who I'm looking for :)
Meet people from Colorado, United States. I truly wish for lightning to strike and I find that most beautiful, warm, charming, intellegent, kind lady of my dreams!!! Until that happens I am just going to live my great life and enjoy the search!!
I joklingly say, I dont look real macho on paper, that is I live art, fashion, I dress really well, gardening landscaping, decorating and of course my favorite thing, treasure hunting!! I have several themes but I seek out uniqueness and beauty. I love everything but the color PINK! I love everything nature has to offer. So many people do not take even a moment to stop, take a deep breath and take in the beautiful things that surround us.
I'm living my dream by just opening my "theme galley" here in Lyons and there is not a moment that goes by that I dont mentally shout how blessed I am. Believe me, I like all of us out there in cyber-space have ridden this wild up and down roller coaster ride we call life.
I do not watch or listen to the news. Somehow all the crap that goes on I eventually hear about anyway! I preferr to to creat my own news and create my own world events. I care about others and their feelings, I spend 24/7 with my puppy-girl CHAMP she's a golden retreiver thats now 9 1/2 starting to age somewhat, spends alot of time napping, but I still only have to say "lets go" and shes instantlly up!! We take 2 longs hikes along the river or up the hills daily.
I am a sports guy, dont watch to much on tv because of many other interests, but I played baseball at SDSU, was a tennis instructor, would rather be on a tropical island with perfect waves that anywhere else, casually ride my mountain bike, oh and my ONY negativer, I really cant stand the guy road bikers with their tighty little bike uniforms, I can never resist the urge to yell "GO LANCE GO" as they zip past!!
I love to laugh, I eat to live, not live to eat. I enjoy wine, especially if sharing with a lady. Live music, I listen to music all day long, cant do better that Jimmy Buffit or Jack Johnson and on the girl side, Nora Jones has the sexiest viice and is one of my favorites. I do not need a lady in my life, but oh it would be so nice to have that spark and mutual attraction that makes life so enjoyable and complete. Like Jimmy Buffit sings in one of his songs "Lifes short, call now" Enough said. God luck with your serach ladies!!!!
