Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. Hello there? well, I have decided to write this thing over again. After reading my first draft (that I wrote while I was slightly intoxicated) I figured I should do a better job. I am not new to online dating so I can't say that I am new to this sort of thing, but it has been a while. I am new to Colorado (9.5 months, I don't know if that can still be considered new) but I have been focused on work and getting settled. I really haven't gotten out to see the area much, but I really like what I have to work with. I moved here because of a job change, still with the same company (10 yrs.) just needed a change. Another awesome reason is for the beer? Colorado has the best beer in the country. I Brew homebrews as a hobby and would like to eventually get into it as a profession. I am really embracing the Colorado lifestyle and look forward to my future here.
Why I am on this site? my dog doesn't provide good conversation. Actually I did train him to talk (kind of) but I get home from work and don't have anybody to tell stories to. (You know?) I was married, now divorced, but it?s not something that I like to dwell on. I only bring it up because it is a chapter in my life that has helped me to become a better person with better direction in my life. When I moved to Colorado I chose Longmont because it is where I work, while it is not the ideal community, it's not bad either. I live in the downtown area (old town). On one hand it is nice because it is within close walking distance to the bars, but on the other hand, it is within close walking distance to the bars. Back to the point, I think that I have had enough of the every weekend bar scene trying to meet quality people. I am planning to move in the next couple of months, but still within Longmont (it's more economically feasible right now). And? back to the point, I am looking for someone of the opposite sex to spend some quality time with. I find that my life greatly improves with the help of another that matches me.
While I am open for good, short, fun times (wink) I really do want to find my match out in this wide world. I am a committed man (not in the psychotic way) when I make a connection I have tunnel vision and I commit myself to that girl. If it is not the right fit, it happens, no problem I just want me and you to be honest and go peacefully.
A little about me? I have a lot to give, more than I can state here. I have good family values, I love my family, and miss them as I moved out here from Nevada. I am self-sufficient as that I can cook, clean, do my laundry and take care of the things that I need to take care of. (Not to sound wussy, but I actually know how to fold a fitted sheet). I love to do things outside, taking care of the house and the property, and building and fixing when it needs to be done. I am looking to rent a bigger house so that I have the room to do some of the projects that I have been thinking about. I love to cook, but it is depressing to cook just a fancy meal just for myself. I was on track to become a chef when I was younger, but decided that I like to cook for fun, but not for a job. I am intelligent (or at least that's what my dog thinks) but I do have dumb moments sometimes, like everybody. All in all, I am a good decent guy without a criminal record, I live a clean life, and look forward to the future.
