Natures beauty is everywhere; a massive fir towers above, rocks blanketed by quite white, warm feet squeek underfoot. Our senses are overloaded and the adrenal gland is awakened. As the sun rises and warms, we decend safely, a deep slow muffled creek parallels our path. Black ice awaits our arrival. Time passes unnoticed. The mood is all very childlike, and one cannot imagine being elsewhere. We hurriedly lash on our skates, hearts pumping, and glide out to explore the miles of frozen canyon. The next few hours are indescribable and intoxicating . . . you, the day, the place.

I am thankful for all I have and I am happy with life, but wish to find someone SPECIAL to share it with. I wish to find someone to "grow up" and "grow old" with. Someone to love with all my heart and I have a big heart. I try to improve my mental, physical, and spiritual being each day. Growth is important. I look forward to every day and realize how precious it is. I am organized, honest, hard working(work hard to play hard), humorous, optimistic, well built for my age, artistic, creative, reliable, active (workout regularly), love to give and share, compassionate, and adventuresome. I love to have my senses stimulated; the sound of great music, the view from a mountain top, the smell and taste of great food or wine, the touch of a special someone, the hug from or for a friend! I am a blue jean mountain man kind of guy, but I can dress up nicely. I am a kid at heart in many ways! I have been blessed in many ways. Some of these ways are a 19 year old son who is a "Gift from God" (first year in college), an around the world trip for a year, and working as a raft guide for many years in Alaska (to name a few things). Just retired from teaching 3 years ago, so many new doors are opening. I am so excited about that! I work designing and making jewelry and love being creative. Went on a trip to Sierra Leone in Africa 2 years ago doing some mission work. I love missions trips. It's not about me! I am a gentleman and chivalry is not dead.
