I believe in working hard but also taking time to enjoy life and spending time with the people i love. i don't believe in setting expectations of how things should be but really find my joy in just living life and pursuing those things that are most important to me (family, close friends, helping others, being healthy, etc.).
Things that make me smile are goofy little kids, my son, my family, close friends, a beautiful sunset (over the ocean, over the mountains), sunrise (when i'm up), seriously starry nights, a beautiful song, a beautiful painting, and on and on.
I want to share my life with someone and know what makes them smile and experience new ways to enjoy life. So, here are a few things i think would be fun (and maybe off the wall, you tell me).
- camp out in the mountains on X-Mas eve, stay up huddled around a fire and watch the stars; wake up to a beautiful X-Mas morning
- take a road trip across southern colorado and New Mexico; plan a killer mountain bike ride during the day and then wind up at a local favorite restaurant at night (maybe something from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives)
- Get a room at the Stanley Hotel on Halloween night on the creepiest floor. Stay up all night with a bottle of 12 year old scotch, walk the halls every now and then and see what we see (or hear, or feel)

Nine years ago after leaving the corporate telecommunications world, I created a small hedge fund and actively trade and manage the fund. We also own a few cell phone towers. Off hours I work out daily at the gym or undertake cardio outside.

Date men and women from Greenwood Village, United States. Pictures range from 2012 to 2010. Most recent was a tennis tournament win at South Suburban with my tennis partner. First win together, a few runner ups so this was nice to get a win.
I am happy to say my oldest son will be graduating college May 2012, long road but well worth it. Younger one is a year away although grad school could be right around the corner.
Myself, I like my lifestyle, my family, my job, my circle of friends, and all the cultural and mountain activities that living in Denver offers. I enjoy baseball, basketball and football games, I prefer to be a participant over a spectator. Tennis, Skiing (both) are favorite and most frequent pastimes. Mentoring under-privileged kids to help get them into and stay in college (Colorado Youth At Risk) is important. I may be joining thier board this summer. The level of politics will be the determining factor. I work with kids improving thier ACT or SAT results, helping selecting colleges they can both get into and be successful at, determine how and where to get scholarship money, etc. Not everyone is meant for college so finding skilled trades is just as important. It feels so good to get emails a year or two later hearing how they are doing.
Enjoy concerns and plays, red rocks is fun but so is the cresent in greenwood village, Lake Dillon on Saturday nights or Denver park systems on a Sunday afternoon. There are so many places if you put in the effort
At this stage in my life I am looking for a partner who is open to trying things they have not done before, whether it's cycling in Tuscany, claming down the jersey shore or island hopping off the atlantic coast in Panama. I am told I look younger than my age, but you can be the judge of that when we get together. I am fairly non-judgmental and am looking for a sincere and honest lady. Finding good friends to share fun times, go to concerts, sporting events, comedy clubs, and other activities would be nice.
