Meet single man from Grand Lake, United States. My "Life is Good", but a bit unconventional. After 25 years working at a desk in the wonderful world of banking, I now have my own business renting kayaks. It is awesome working on the lake front every day helping happy people enjoy their vacations. But because the business is seasonal (mid May through September in Colorado and mid December through March in Arizona), with travel in the off seasons, my lifestyle isn't exactly what you would call normal. That's by design!
Therefore, my match is also likely going to be a bit unconventional. What I would really like is a best friend/lover/playmate who has time to travel, and believes that it is preferable to "work to live" rather than "live to work". I don't expect us to immediately fit together like pieces of a puzzle, but to learn about each other and relish the similarities and the differences. A seasonal relationship is not out of the question, but I've decided to limit my search to the mountains this summer because I am working 8am to 6pm most days and wouldn't be able to meet someone on the Front Range for a date at a reasonable hour.
Some of the things that I like to do are boating/kayaking, biking, camping, hiking/snowshoeing, and skiing. I also enjoy down time at home, watching a movie, reading a good book, or simply enjoying one another's company. I'm neither a party animal nor deeply religious, but a genuine guy somewhere in between. I've down sized in the past year to enjoy a simpler life. I live in a small mountain resort town of 400 people and recently purchased a 21' camper which will be my home in Colorado, Arizona, and whereever I may roam. Now that I have the time, my goal is to discover the USA. Care to come along?
