I’ve done a couple of triathlon races in the past but should get back into the swing of it. I recently started hiking fourteeners and have checked off six this far.
I am very passionate about friends and family although I don’t get to see family very often. I really enjoy my job which might be why it sometimes takes up most of my time. I have a research job and get to work with some very driven, enthusiastic, young people. I definitely believe that the small things in life are important like the smell of rain or feeling sand between your toes.

Meet people from United States. Skipping right past the awe and wonder of the first 4 months of a relationship we arrive at who we truly are rather than us at our best. So who will I be and what can you expect then:

- Lastly, I have a t.v. I know watching t.v. is sooo outdated but there are times in my life, when I want to completely veg out. And reading the same page of a book 20 times is not vegging out.
So now, after 14 years of dating I have determined that I am still very open minded, BUT there are a handfull of traits I know don't work with my personality:
- TOO much independance. I will only be your newest toy for the first 4 months.
- TOO dependant. My phone does run out of battery, honestly, and I'm seriously just on my bike. If I was at the bar I'd use their phone.
- No athletic ability.

What do I want you to know about me? I don't drink coffee, but I love the smell of a fresh pot brewing. Sometimes when I fall asleep, I sigh loudly and wake myself. I hate to be tickled, but I'm not ticklish. I rarely carry my cell phone and always complain how hard it is to get a hold of people. I am very complete in my life right now and am absolutely loving where I live. I have a great job, good balance of friends, awesome flatmates, the list goes on. I feel complete as a person, but would feel better with that special someone. I'm very passionate when it comes to all the wonderful things in my life and the world around me. I enjoy exploring and learning about my world and would love to meet someone that feels the same about theirs. I greet everyday with a smile and always make the best out of any situation. I'm most certainly not afraid to be the true goofball and dork that I am! Which usually means witty sarcastic jokes, harmless pranks, bubbles in my (or your) chocolate milk, and lots of surprises!
I've always stood on my own two feet and know what it means to be a responsible man. One who takes care of his business and always puts others first. However, that doesn't mean I don't take care of or treat myself when needed! I enjoy giving selflessly to others, usually those most important people in my life get priority.but sometimes my heart opens to a panhandler or starving street musician. I come from a very normal and functioning family, we are always there for each other and have a great time together. Now when it comes to my personal life, I work and play hard, everything in balance though. When it comes to play time, well I’ve got a huge list. In the winter you will probably find me shredding on a snowboard, or stomping a good snowshoe trail. I go on several long weekend snowboard trips every year with my friends to semi exotic Colorado destinations (silverton heli is on the map for this season). I also like to curl up by the fireplace and watch the snow fall too! In the summer you might find me wake boarding in the resevior, fly fishing on an alpine lake, rock climbing in Eldorado Canyon, or making tracks up a peak. I still haven't done a 14er yet, but that's on my to do list! Who knows maybe we can do that together!
Even though I enjoy exciting and action packed activities, I still find pleasure in the little things. So often people take for granted all the simple pleasures in life, I make it a point to embrace them. My personality lends itself to being a bit old fashioned and caring about the details, especially if I have a love interest to grab my attention! I'm not totally old school though, and want to meet someone that I can respect as an equal. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and try to take care of myself and would expect you to do the same. I also believe in taking care of each other too though. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and I hope that we would help each other to grow as individuals.

I'm not much for clubs and such but get down with a dive bar now and again. I don't watch sports on TV but enjoy going to a game once in a while. I'm super laid back and agreeable; I don't like drama and try to avoid it whenever possible- the last relationship I was in lasted 2 years, and we honestly never had a fight.
