I'm a very passionate person myself in all aspects of my life. I believe that if you live with passion you automatically are a happier, well adjusted and generally better version of yourself. That said, I am happy to be alive!!! Some folks I meet really don't seem to be. I am happy to have two arms and two legs. (seriously) When I wake up I celebrate the great and beautiful things in my life instead of complain. (I like Anthony Robbins mentality and self improvement books and tapes) I shun folks who don't have the same disposition. I don't like complainer or victim mentalities or people who just don't take responsibility for their "stuff", whatever that "stuff" happens to be. We all have down days or have had bad things happen but I tend to like those folks with a great attitude regardless and like to hear about what a great life they are living despite their obstacles. That is cool.
One of my passions is outdoors and fitness. I'm a trail runner, mtn biker and snowboard instructor. I'm looking for someone who has a lifetime commitment to fitness. It doesn't have to be these sports per se, but it does have to be something that you are passionate about and something that puts fitness as a priority in your life.
I like taking off on road trips that involve a ride or run or race of some type and some easy going fun adventure. I want to go to Costa Rica to learn how to surf. SOON! BTW I'm super spontaneous so I might just book that trip tomorrow. I want to go heliboarding in Alaska and I love backcountry snowboarding BTW.
I should probably mention that I'm pretty different. I feel kind of like an alien in that I know hardly nothing about sports on TV. I know its weird for a guy. I would have to be held down by someone to sit through watching someone else play sports on television. Consequently, I don't know any of the typical "sports talk "/fantasy sports most guys engage in. My philosophy is I would rather be out DOING than watching. I don't mind going to a live game every now and then like Broncs/Nuggs or Rockies. Ive had fun at those outings.
I also do P90X in the winter time and I love keeping FIT. Outside of fitness I love singing Karoake, hanging with my boys and eating a great meal....steak and crab/shellfish, sushi, or mexican.
For work I try to keep things light, fun and passion driven. I used to own a DJ company and still do gigs a few times a year. The name of my company is Life Of the party Entertainment and I think that describes my personality pretty well. Also, I get along with EVERYONE. I feel totally comfortable walking up to anyone or any group of people and starting a conversation. In fact I probably feel more comfortable on a microphone in front of 300 people at a wedding than one on one in some ways. Maybe I'm just a big ham.
I do love to laugh all the time and make people laugh even more. I love stand up comedy and I did some in college and even took a class on comedy writing recently. i want to try to do 2 min on stage at comedy works. I've already looked into it...just need to pull that trigger. My main career is as a full time real estate agent but I also am a part time professional blackjack and roulette dealer in Blackhawk. Thats a fun and exciting part time gig. My other favorite part time deal is as snowboard instructor at Loveland Ski Area. Something I've been doing for four years. Love love helping people learn the joy of snowboarding.

I like being outdoors, fishing and floating on a lake with the boat, going to hockey and football games, or stopping at the bar for a few beers on the patio with good friends. Fresh veggies from the garden, or a juicy steak on the grill are my favorite things to eat, though I do love going out to eat, especially to a place I've never been. Cant beat Colorado for a great day of hiking, four wheeling, or snowboarding, depending on the season, followed by an evening of soaking in a hot springs pool or camping beneath the stars with some good friends. I enjoy traveling to places I've never been or just heading to Vegas for the weekend, though a quiet evening at home cuddled up on the couch with someone special watching a movie is always enjoyable.
Who am I looking for? I don't think the 'perfect match' is something you define and then go looking for, you just know when you've found it.

I grew up in the Indiana, not too far from Chicago, so I'm pretty laid back. My parents are middle income and taught me to be humble, treat everyone with respect and kindness, and be a hard worker.
I consider myself to be honest, thoughtful, humorous, and adventurous. I'm also ambitious and always set goals for myself, and I think I've done rather well for myself. I'm not a control freak, but I like to analyze situations and take control when needed to get things done. I have an extrovert personality, so if I'm out with friends from work, I'm always talking and laughing with the rest of them.
I haven't traveled in a long time, and it would be nice to find someone with similar interests. Places I've wanted to go (in no particular order): California, Mexico, Hawaii, Spain, France, and Alaska.
