It took me 50 years to figure out what really mattered . . .
In a lot of ways, Thoreau was right when he went to Walden Pond to find out how simple we can live.
I have lived in Colorado for4 years (Steamboat and now Winter Park) and love every minute. I have been in hospitality management for a number of years giving me the opportunity to enjoy different places, people and experiences. Colorado is home now but my two daughters spent their early years in New England - the coast of Maine, Vermont and even two years in the Catskills. Life is a journey.
I enjoy a simple life and am looking for someone to share special places and times together.
Someone that enjoys a hike; a early morning walk or run (prefer the run); a glass of wine on the deck watching the sunset; a day at a museum; planning the next bike adventure or adventure in general; enjoying a quiet meal with a few friends and sampling a new organic wine; and just being yourself.
Enjoy live music - but not a late night, crowded scene. Something more low key.

I am well educated and relatively well travelled. I am a professional and financially secure. I have enjoyed living in several large cities, but live in the mountains now because that is where I love to play.
Summer is here. I am rowing my single shell and riding the new 29'er.
I am liberal, but not wacky. I like to think that I am fairly open minded, but I don't tolerate "Fox and Friends" well.
Some favorite authors include Marquez, Mccarthy and Murakami (I used to read a lot, but Netflix threatens to change that).
Integrity is important to me. I strive for it in my own life and I look for and admire it in others.
Oh, and a note regarding the dog in the foto. It belongs to a friend. I like dogs, but they don't rock my world.
