I'm an open book and not politically correct, which goes along with my sense of humor. I believe in telling it like it is, but that doesn't mean I say hurtful things. I'm at a point in my life where I don't consider my self shy, but on first and second dates I revert back to the days when I was in high school when talking to a woman was so terrifying. Weird huh? Why is that? First dates are fun.........the butterflies, sweaty palms, frequent need to go to the bathroom are all good.

I am an x long term gym rat who has my usual winter layer. I have a great profession that requires you be in shape. I am one of the hardest, most driven workers that I know of. I am probably not as laid back at work as I think I am. I do leave work at work on the weekends and have a good time Oh yea I usually keep my head shaved or close to it. My hair and what little I can grow for a beard is grey, I don't dye my hair. I usually wear a cap cause its cold here or I don't like sunburns! I usually have my hat on backwards too. I still think I am in my 20s but my body tells me other wise.
I like to hang out with my son. We have fun in the shop working on the boat or our quads,. We both spend quite a bit of time in the mountains on our Race Quads. We also lift weights together and mountain bike.
I love animals, I have had several cats from the humane shelter including the Heline and Sheline that are on permanant loan to me. I don't hunt. Feel bad for people in need. I never look down on anyone with out knowing their background. I am socially liberal.
I am open minded and like girls the same. I am also not afraid of a strong, independant lady who takes care of herself, will stand up for themself and isn't afraid to to giive a little, "negative reinforcement". I am kind of a country boy but not a redneck. I have a little class and enjoy a classy gal.

Being a father of three, grandfather of two and retired Air Force, I appreciate the merits of order and routine in our lives. Yet, nothing gets me more excited than concocting a splendidly spontaneous scheme - fully intending to leave you speechless (breathless?) and wondering out loud "what other tricks does my man have up his sleeve...and he's wearing short sleeves, for crying out loud?"

But wait, in reality - WE would figure out the things we love to do together – as that new world could change our entire perspective…..so scratch all I wrote. Just be open to LIVING.

I love the outdoors! I love weekend hikes in the mountains to see the breathtaking vistas few people take the time to experience. I play golf when I can, like leisurely walks in the forest or strenuous hikes in the mountains, short trips to the mountains for picnics, or a long weekend camping trip at a secluded or scenic spot. I've loved fishing and hunting since I was a kid, but nowadays I still enjoy the experience even if I come home empty handed. I like driving down a rural road I've never taken just to see what's there.
I've traveled the world and seen a lot of beauty, with an entire world yet to be discovered. I've realized that it would be so much more enjoyable with a special lady in my life.
