That applies to everything in life though: movies, books, TV, food, vacations, wine, people. I'm not picky about genre. Of course, there's not enough time to do everything, so I have narrowed down my activity list to some extent. There's nothing quite like cooking a good meal with friends and relaxing with some wine or single malt scotch and good movie playing. I like cooking; my latest obsession is Asian dishes, especially atomic kung pao chicken! Did I mention I like hot food? It's OK if you don't though. I make mild batches too. And naturally, no plate is complete without the drink to go with it. I appreciate good beer on tap, or a bottle of Cabernet.
When I'm not chilling at the house, I'm usually doing something with my friends, be it working out at Lifetime Fitness (the place is amazing) or playing Golf at Patty Jewett. I'm also something of a hiker. I climbed every 14er in Colorado with my dad when I was in middle school and high school. I've cut back on that a little, but I still go occasionally.
I left talking about my job till last, partly because it's not super interesting, and partly because I work to live rather than live to work. I'm a software engineer for a defense contractor. I work on communications satellites. But it does have good benefits! I have about 4 weeks of vacation every year, and I love to use it traveling. So, is there anybody out there who wants to explore the world? I sure hope so.
