Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Boulder, 33 year old

Date men and women from United States. Do adjectives really help here? I feel like we will all be saying the same thing to each other. Especially because so many of us come here for the same reason (mountains and adventure.) I'm not sure if it is meaningful to say I like outdoors or camping or running or whatever. Every other guy is already saying that. So just take the guts of everyone else's profile and apply it to me also. That sames me a few characters. Which, according to my character counter, leaves me with 3510 more. I need to be very very very very very very careful with each one lest I run out. Although isn't that like 3 pages or something? Do people really write that much about themselves? If I end up writing 3 pages here then you shouldn't date me, as that's a classic sign of narcissism. It's like posting 400 pictures of yourself on facebook. Which I probably shouldn't say in case you have that many pictures up.
But I will try to convey a little of who I am. I'm what you would call high spirited. Very enthusiastic and friendly. A smile is my default expression. I love meeting people, and I'm a true extrovert in that I get my energy from being around others. I do find it hard to sit still and do nothing, so I keep myself pretty busy with activities. I also am in love with the idea of growth and progression, whether it be in sports, relationships, or work.
I'm looking for an adventure companion. You need to love to be active, and hopefully have a similar energy to my own. But more than that, I am hoping to find someone who will help me to improve as well, who will get me out of my comfort zones and push me to try new and scary things. In return I'll try to do the same for you. I am blown away by people who can do things I cannot.

Meet a man from United States. I am a passionate and hardworking 30 year old male. I enjoy music in all regards and even record and promote as well. I also have a very avid interest in mass media such as radio and television. More for the journalistic and powerful ways it can be used than actually being on TV or anything. I enjoy the mountains greatly and spent a good chunk of my life in them. I Also enjoy getting out and meeting new people and lately have really been getting in the mood to be more daring and live life more.
I am looking for anyone who has there own passion in life but may be looking for someone to learn and grow with. Even if love doesn't happen, friendships are equally as powerful. I am not picky, I try to keep all opportunities open to see if feelings could be mutual beyond my knowledge.

Date people from United States. I live in Boulder Colorado and I am loving life! I am feeling the excitement of summertime in the Rockies, and am looking for someone to join me on my adventures!! Although right now I am focused on growing my business, camping, hiking, and photography are a large part of my life, especially in the summer. I love live music, and go to concerts often, and also enjoy playing music with various local musicians. I have started my own photography, custom frames, and woodworking company here in Boulder, and I have art displays at various public places in town. My work has kept me very busy lately, and it is so great to see the progress in my frames and woodworking, and I have big plans for the future...
I don't have a certain type of woman that I am looking for, but I think I will know it when I find her.
I am looking for someone that can inspire me, make me laugh, and make everything in my life a little better...

Date a soulmate from United States. finishing a phd this summer and teaching here next year at cu for the philosophy department. i'm from the northwest and that's where my family live. i spend more time writing and reading than i would like right now, but i do spend a good deal of time outside. breaks from the computer screen are a must. i enjoy camping, climbing things, and running on trails and treadmills.
here are a few tidbits for those who would prefer the less-blind to the more-blind date. i think a lot and i come across as pretty serious. my humor is awfully dry though not entirely unfunny (if there's one thing i've gathered from these profile descriptions, women unanimously want a guy that's funny). i'm competitive. i'm not rich and i am very down to earth and absolutely honest.
so i'm not going into any of this with expectations as such. i do prefer a relationship with someone in the near future, but otherwise i'm ok with the various sorts of relationships that might emerge from a shared coffee, tea, or a margarita somewhere. so i'll leave it that for now. hugs, xian

Meet single man from United States. I moved to Boulder last year. I'm very active and Boulder is a great place for almost any sport. I'm training for my 1st sprint triathlon in late September. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm looking foward to it.
I work in finance. I'm good at what I do and I have managed to maintain a great work life balance. I am starting my own business this summer. It's not the first business that I've started but I'm excited regardless.
I have a 13 year old son who lives in California. The majority of the time I live alone. I may want more kids in the future but please don't tell me you want kids in the next 2 years on a first date! (Yes I've heard this a few times)
Who am I looking for? I like athletic women. This isn't out of vanity. I respect the discipline it takes to commit to a sport and physical health. I prefer to be around people that value fitness. If you believe in philanthropy I respect that. If you like the Rockies or sci-fi you get bonus points. I value ambition but I find women who are obsessed with their careers unattractive. If you enjoy laughter then we'll get along great. PLEASE have at least a little sweet tooth. Romance is exciting but I want to be friends first. I'm in no rush and I enjoy the journey not just the destination.
Write me and make a new friend. I promise 100% satisfaction guaranteed or you get a full refund. Order now.

Date men and women from Boulder, United States. Great! The writing.. my favorite part! So here is where I tell you who I am... or, more to the point, who I'd like to think I am...or, even more to the point, who I want others to think I am!
Clearly, I shouldn't be allowed to write that stuff; so I am going to try to be as objective as possible, sticking to the most important facts!
I like to eat bananas. Secretly, I know they are going to make me a better climber.
I am a tall dude; If you don't know what 6ft8 means, look at your door. Yes, that's pretty much me.
I have 3 guitars but can only play 2 songs.
I am French (half Italian actually); A date with me is cheaper than a trip to Europe! and almost as much fun. I can promise you that you won't understand half of the thing I say at first. oh la la! oui oui?
I like to think that I am not afraid of anything! but that's not true. Of course there are plenty of things to be afraid of! What about snakes? clowns? needles? Oompa Loompas?
I am a nerd; I have a master of science in Engineering and an MBA in entrepreneurship.
I really enjoy doing backflips at the rope swing.
As a good frenchman, I can cook some mean crepes. I believe the Nutella taste better on them if the crepe get some artistic flight-time first. Indeed, the pan acts as a launchpad and the kitchen get messy.
Did you know that the first ever online-date took place in 475 BC when Xerxes I of Persia sought wife to marry in the Hall of a Hundred Columns at Persepolis?
Collective Masses: "Remarkable! is that true?"
Me: "No, no it is not."
But I can tell you that I'm a simple down-to-earth kind of guy that like to laugh, spend time outside doing sports and chilling, and have lots of ambition. And yes, that's true.

Meet a man from Boulder, United States. I am an active and independent person seeking the same in someone. Life is too short to sit still and I like get outside and have fun whenever I can. However, I do love an afternoon on the patio or at a baseball game. Being outdoors constitutes much of my work and my social life.
My friends would describe me as a nice guy; patient, and having a good sense of humor.
I'm looking for someone who is easy going, fun, and energetic. It would be great if we share similar interests, but I'd also love to meet someone who will open my eyes to new experiences.
You'll catch my interest if you like to laugh, listen to and talk about music, and show an appreciation for little things in life.
I'm realizing that I really dislike the "window shopping" approach to online dating. Sure, I have my preferences, but I'd rather take a chance, meet for a cup of coffee and go from there. Just meeting new folks is great for me too.

Date people from Boulder, United States. I am a very curious person who always asks why. I think our minds and ideas are a great resource to enjoy life. The ideal match would enjoy to explore new places, activities, topics, and friends together, and laugh and love each other while we do that.

Meet someone special from Boulder, United States. Oh jeez. I hate this part, but apparently there is no getting around it. So, I guess I will dive in, head first. OK, now I feel overwhelmed, which is often the case, so instead of coming up with some witty turn-of-phrase that would make you swoon with desire, I find myself, contemplatively, stroking my chin while staring out my window watching my neighbor's cat take a dump. Im pretty sure he knows Im looking at him. He has his head cranked as far in the other direction as it could possibly turn. Refusing, no matter how uncomfortable, to look anywhere, but away from me. Testing my theory by tapping on the glass, whistling and, finally, yelling "hey cat" goes to show I was right. He never once glanced my way, except to look back over his shoulder and slowly blink while strutting away, swinging his dirty behind from side to side.
Wow, ok, now back to reality. Sorry about that, but if you persevered through that random stream-of-consciousness you deserve... something. Perhaps, conversation with me? Not a glamorous prize, but nothing to scoff at either.
So, me? A quick run-down. From the south. Traveled. School for Film and Writing and Literature. I write. I coach and play a lot of basketball. Active. Currently have an on-again-off-again relationship with p90x. I read a fair amount. Probably subscribe to too many publications. Love movies. Just saw Moonrise Kingdom and enjoyed it. Thought from the preview that it would disappoint me, but it didnt. I dont really have a ""type" that I look for, but I have had miserable times with women who drink too much, so thats a deal breaker.
Would love to just meet someone that Im compatible with and see where it goes.

Date a soulmate from Boulder, United States. I'm not originally from Colorado, but I've been living here for a few years now and love everything that it has to offer, including the amazing outdoor activities and great nightlife. When I have free time I enjoy getting outdoors, playing ultimate Frisbee, hiking or skiing. I've been skiing since I was little and have gotten fairly good by now, and I expect no less in my significant other... unless she happens to be cute. Or funny. Or plays the oboe. In other words, I guess I'm willing to make a few exceptions...
By day I work as an engineer for a tech company. Boulder and Denver are pretty good places to get out in the evenings, and I enjoy going out for a drinks at the local pubs or breweries, good food and live concerts. I'm not the best dancer, but I always thought that learning something like salsa or ballroom could be an interesting thing to try, but it would have to be with the right person. Though I try to get out when I can, when I'm not in the mood I love just relaxing on the couch with a glass of wine and a movie.
I have a dog named Kaiser, and having been a rescue dog he's rather scrappy and fiercely loyal, though once he warms up to you he's one of the sweetest dogs and loves nothing more than getting a nice good belly rub.
I love the adventure of traveling and experiencing other cultures and places, whether it be Europe, Australia, or the upcoming backpacking trip I'm planning in Alaska. Seven days alone with nature in the remote back-country, anyone?
I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh and enjoys life, can be adventurous, honest, down to earth and maybe a bit goofy at times. If you're high maintenance, uptight, superficial or prone to drama, I don't think it would work. But if not...

Meet single man from Boulder, United States. After growing up abroad and traveling a bunch I figured out what everyone else has figured out...Colorado is pretty good. I teach high school social studies and although those monsters suck a ton of energy, I like it and it seems important...I also don't mind having summers off.
The school year keeps me pretty busy, but I still find the time to take off the "thinking-cap" and enjoy myself (dancing naked on the bar, prank-calling my parents from jail, waking up in a different state, etc.)
When I'm not working or actively trying to embarrass my family, I'm running trails, hiking, backpacking, climbing, mountain biking/falling off my mountain bike, snowman making, snowshoeing, snowboarding, reading...scrap-booking, antiquing, butter-fly catching, hummel collecting, butter sculpting (just a warning: not all of those are true ;)
I'm drawn to down-to earth people and I try to be one myself despite living in Boulder. I'm pretty social...not one to sit on the sidelines, though I don't make it out to the bar-scene very often. I'm comfortable in a room full of unfamiliar people, and I can handle the spotlight if no one else is stepping up (I've got a few stories of my own...most involve me making a fool of myself)
What I'm looking for...
a great conversation
