About three years ago I moved to Boulder County from Denver. I was tired of the commute from Denver to Boulder.
Currently, I live in Niwot and like most people in the area I enjoy out door activities like biking and hiking and snow shoeing.

I do have high standards, so I am very picky. So no crazy women, please. Seriously, if you are pausing right now, thinking to yourself, wondering if you are a nutter; then the answer is: yes, now please move along. I like someone who takes pride in themselves (physically and visually). If you cannot respect yourself, how can you expect me to? I'm looking for someone who enjoys the outdoors, and is adventurous. Someone to hang out with, to occupy my thoughts; but you need to be independent as well--that whole jealous, smothering, overbearing thing simply freaks me the hell out.
Have you noticed that in everyone's profile they express how absolutely perfect they are--that being with them will be like living in a land of unicorns and lollipops? Yet, as perfect as we all like to present ourselves on here, I've noticed a little something: We are all divorced. . . .go figure. Look, we all have baggage, but at least I accept the fact that I should own stock in Samsonite. Plus, I think mine packs fairly neatly and fits rather nicely into the overhead bin; or maybe not, meh. . . .whatever. Sooo, I am definitely a handful--I make no bones about it. I'll frustrate you, then piss you off, and just when you think you got me figured out: Wash, Rinse, Repeat. But hey, at least the ride is fun.
I also live a very active lifestyle, so you will need to keep up. Don't send me winks, I am looking for someone who is confident and can challenge me. So, step up and send me an email--I usually respond (unless they are "hail mary" emails). You will also have to be able to keep me on my toes, and BUST me when I slip up. Sassy is a must; Confident is better (and much more sexy); the passive aggressive need not apply. I simply need someone to challenge me.
Women in sundresses make my knees wobble--seriously, is there anything more feminine and sexy than a woman in a sun dress, maybe wearing some old cowboy boots and a straw hat? Mmmmm, mmmm, mmm. Mercy. Anyway, I am a Southern boy at heart with all the proper manners and am enjoying life right now, but it would be great to have someone there along for the ride.
