Date a soulmate from Yreka, United States. Last night it happened again… I had that random dream where I had finally met my match. I was awoken by my alarm clock, yet, I tried to get back to sleep…to be with her.
I finally awoke realizing that strong feeling again. The way we connected in the dream told me that one day I would meet someone where we would have a relationship like my Dad and Mom. One where there was a twinkle in their eyes for each other for decades, until my dad passed.
The dream stirred up deep feelings inside that felt familiar where you know that “she’s the one.”
But who is she?
Where is she?
It is time to find her. So, here I am, finally online, believing this dream will become reality…if I only seek.

When the song came out I didn’t pay much attention to it. If I was a “Dream Maker” putting dreams in people’s heads, then maybe I would have suggested something different for me. But I believe some dreams come from God, and therefore, I needed to learn something from this song.

Meet a man from California, United States. First thing people notice about me is my NY accent. Born and raised on Long Island. I've been in CA over 20 years, but have not lost the accent, nor the NY mannerisms, lol.
My son is 23 and lives on his own. My daughter is 18 and still lives with me.
I try to stay physically and mentally healthy by bike riding, running, skiing, motorcycling, or trying new and challenging activities. Don't let the pics fool you though, I'm not a jock and more interested in beating my personal time and completing an event.
Other than that I like dining out, going to movies, plays, live bands, or trying something new. I tend to be a window shopper and love to walk down town areas checking out the sites. I do have a few tattoos that are personal to me.
Although I believe that I am a complex person, I'm really just an average Joe. I tend to be a deep thinker, but will over think the obvious at times. I tend to be a bit of a loner, but have no problems engaging in group activities.

I logged onto this stuff to see what can possibly pass for normal in these parts; HWP, sometime photographed, always at least tolerated (save by the knuckle walker dood set in these hangouts), gone fairly far in the real world and likely will need to return to it if no one else exists around here with any refinement (not to sound the snob- just hoping you're over the limits imposed by the collective intelligence of this valley as well as a few folk I know!)
Prefer to be innovative, in creative category as it is (though don't say here which as it's a standout in this little pond- think Ashland without pedantry); came here for the peace and share Brahms' penchant for walks au champs; motoring about these twisty little roads was fun for a time... have simplified life quite a bit in anticipation of getting back into the industry with more focus than earlier, though not letting it take over again. Counterpart would have some balance, focus, stability (but not the mundane save when doing your wash or something!), maybe enjoy Purcell, old New Order, Nagauta, Cai Luong (kidding- sort of), some things in between. Occasional cleaner sports like tennis, cycling, fencing ok. Lean toward those more classical undertakings without the frippery that goes along- e.g. the cat is allowed to play the harpsichord, and when sharpening claws on the bike seat or xke top, or knocking the occasional piece of Haviland off the table... oh, gee, I guess... stuff, knowledge, and all the endeavor toward it all is better enjoyed when not seen as some holy purpose-
at least that's the intended take on temporal things!
Might have been around it, but really don't pose if can be helped- any beard is simply weekly laziness/indifference, not purposeful posing, for another example.
Ironically the one who gets stopped by the gendarmes after drinking all the coffee in the couple of local bars I frequent... and can appreciate the humor in this fact
Prefer simple exploring new places or a nice meal (after boredom with the Kuleto's set, it doesn't have to be that wannabe fancy new restaurant in the Fort) over either mellowing into atrophy in front of the tube (though obscure films are great) or running the bulls or blasting on dumb animals who haven't a chance (trespassers always in season, though). I'm worried for the county in general. Show me there's some hope for intelligent life, please..(!)
... and any negative critique you read here is reserved for those deserving, not yourself, of course(!)

Onward, I retired from Govt. "public safety" in 04 and soon after obtained a "post retirement" proefssional license within a similar venue.
My greatest interest is anything outdoors, riding motorcycle and woodworking (built and designed my home, make log furniture as a hobby ). I am NO "Grizzly Adams", but I do appreciate what nature has to offer. I love to fish, hike with my Yellow Lab "Hunter", ski, snowmobile, bike, boat.
Like to travel, have been to Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica*, Nicaragua*, Puerto Vallerta* (*2012) Mazatlan (2011).
I enjoyed Para-sailing, Ziplining, ATV riding on an Island beach, deap sea fishing, bask in the sun at the beach-pool side with Margarita in hand!
Love leisurely rides on my motorcycle through local country roads and smelling all the fragrances of fields and forests along the way.
I enjoy evenings with friends around the backyard campfire, or lay in my hammock on a lazy summer day-evening-night (your welcome to come join me if you wish). Finish the evening off with a soak in the hot tub and if it's snowing, even better, if not, then watching the stars through the tall pines is equally satisfying!
I'am always busy doing something, not one to sit still, work hard, stay fit. Love to laugh, quick wit and above all, a great sense of humor. OK, are you ready for this confession? I RARELY if at all watch organized sports, BUT, I do still like hot dogs and apple pie!
I dont like to cook, but when I do, I am told I do it well.
During the summer, I live part time on 39 acres along the Sacramento River between Redding and Dunsmuir, it's my other retreat and enjoy much of the same things there as my real home, but with the added sounds of a cascading river. I have a great summer job that gives me lots of outdoor freedom and just having too much fun to "re-retire" yet!....I am in Redding several times a week during the summer.
I don't mind getting dirty when the task demands it, then shed my grubbies and head to the "Ritz".
Above all, I am a gentlemen who is compassionate, giving, loyal and respectful. I have been told I am a "protector" (go figure)
