Though a long term marketer, promoting yourself here is a different challenge. A resume. A creative proposal. The first meeting an interview. As a test I've been playing with location and age here... both raised and lowered mine to test response. Now match won't show birthdate option so I can't reset it - I am 54, want to be upfront, don't wish to mislead (and in the interest of full disclosure, I'm 5' 2-3/4" but match didn't allow fractions...truth in advertising!).
I'm originally from Santa Barbara and considering relocating, live in OC for... a couple more weeks, and work in LA (oil comanies love me!) where I'll be soon. Friends (unpaid) would say I'm intelligent, articulate, funny, creative, sincere, loyal, straightforward, resourceful. A good catch for the right catcher. Dry humor (but I know when to turn it off. Or whisper quietly. Usually.) Typically smiling. Eyes that communicate without speaking a word. Can accomodate the proverbial jeans or black dress though not simultaneously. Good vocabulary.
No lists of must haves or "must be", I prefer to be open minded. I had a list of what I "thought" I wanted but we are so indivdual with different things to offer I want to be open to what I didn't know I wanted. I limit "musts" to some good character items. I am attracted to: Intelligence. Integrity. Sincerity. A calm demeanor. Kindness and respect toward others. Good sense of humor. Open mindedness. Humility. Good values/ethics (guess what, they can even come from SoCal!). Good financial management.
