(No, neither one of us have Armenian ancestry.) We also taught summer school in Turkey for two summers. We were also able to travel in other countries in the Middle East and Europe. Our 2007 trip to Iran was perhaps the most unusual of our trips. Since his death, I have discovered rivercruising, a fun way to see the rural parts of Europe.
