I'm active in sports (skiing in winters, river trips in summers, hiking, fishing, etc.) Like to go to Vegas every few months and roll the dice, play some cards. My interests are varied and extensive. I can probably hold a quasi-intelligent conversation in whatever subject you might come up with (well, within reason.) Well, all that's on the surface. I consider myself an intelligent and kind. I think I'm funny, but then again, most people think that of themselves, don't they? I'm well regarded by my friends and family. Be prepared to be contronted by a bunch of boisterous jokesters who love each other. People don't have to wonder too long about what I think; I have no time, or patience, for "head games." Basically, you get what you see.She is able to converse with me on many different subjects. I value intelligence, quick wit, and compassion. A good sense of humor is a must; life has a way of throwing stuff at you which would be unbearable without a sense of humor. A history buff is a plus. Quirky or whimsical (within reason) worth bonus points. She like the outdoors, able to hike and camp the backside of Yosemite Falls, ski the Cornice at Mammoth. But at the same time she has refined tastes: museums, musical theatre. Knows who John Keats was. Knows what it means to roll a hard-eight at the right time. Enjoys cruising PCH with the top down on a sunny day, wind in your hair. Knows that playing Chopin on the stereo while curled up together in front of a fireplace on a rainy day is corny...and likes it. Has a kind heart, a passionate soul and a clear head.
