I have a dynamic personality:
-At work, people would describe me as professional, driven, intelligent, and efficient. I'm a Technical Writer for a company that you have definitely heard of. It takes a special kind of person to sit at a computer and type all day, but I enjoy it.
-My family describes me as silly, goofy, loving and motherly. No, I do not have kids...I just have the compassion and desire to take care of people.
-My friends describe me as nerdy, quirky, caring....and motherly, again. I'm the go-to person for advice. I think it helps that I'm a great listener and I don't pass judgement.
-I would describe myself as passionate, hard working, young at heart, but with an old soul.
Fun facts, talents, and hobbies:
-I am a self-awarded Grammy award winning Car Concert Soloist. I sing the traffic away and I occasional go in for a steering wheel Drum solo. My proudest car-concert moment was getting a round of applause at a red light. Care to make this a duet?
-Music is a lifeline. I listen to anything and everything. My iPod suffers from Mulitple Personailty Disorder...especially on shuffle.
-I love to dance, but I'm probably the only black girl born without rhythm. If you've ever seen the movie Hitched....Kevin James got his moves from me.
-I am a poet...but I can count the number of people that I trust to read everything on one hand.
-I love to go out to eat. I never understood girls who order salads at a place that specializes in steak.
-I do not like the gym...I'd much rather be outside doing something fun like riding a bike, playing frisbee with the dog or rowing a boat.
Who I'm looking for:
I'm in search of someone with a good character. I have high expectations when it comes to having morals and treating people with respect, but I never ask for more than I'm willing to give. I would love to attract someone who is comfortable in their own skin, open minded about life, and humble. I don't want perfection, but I do want someone who isn't afraid to strive for greatness.
Here's my wish list:

-I could careless about abs, how much you bench press, or how fast you can run a mile---those are all fine, but they're meaningless to me. I'd much rather have a nerdy guy tell me about the last book he read or computer program he built....or a creative guy with permanent paint stains on his favorite jeans or lyrics to his new song written on the back of a Target receipt.

Meet someone special from California, United States. A little about myself, I'm shy at first, friendly, caring, up for random adventures, and always give more than I take. In my free time I enjoy having game nights with friends, watching movies or reading a good book. Having differences is great and interesting, but I think having a similar sense of humor is also important. I'm the affectionate type, so I've come to realize I need a little bit of that from the person I'm with, too. A mutual attraction is necessary, but personality is what keeps someone around. Reliability and loyalty are also great qualities to come by in a man. I can also be a little competitive sometimes, so it's gotta be someone who's not afraid of the occasional challenge ;)

About me: I'm a proud University of Colorado graduate (Go Buffs!) and I now work in banking.
