Meet someone special from California, United States. Well, here comes the difficult part where I'm supposed to describe myself. Honestly, I hate this stuff but here goes.
I'm 48, although that number kind of freaks me out and saying I'm middle aged is even worse. I prefer "vintage."
I LOVE rock music, alternative, hard rock, etc., especially classic rock. Although I must confess my love for cheesy one-hit wonders of the 70's. Chalk that up to listening to too much A.M. radio back in the day. I also enjoy alternative country, red dirt music. I enjoy going to concerts or clubs to see bands. Have you noticed a theme here? Yes, it's music! Can't get enough of it! I especially love seeing live shows so I would love it if you enjoyed going to concerts like me.
I am also kind of a TV nerd. I love to curl up on my couch with a bowl of popcorn and watch, well, almost anything, from old black-and-white classic movies to action adventure and, of course, the occasional chick flick. That goes without saying, right?
As far as what I'm looking for in a potential mate, you MUST have a good sense of humor and be able to roll with my sarcasm and not go into sugar shock by my bubbly personality. Just warning ya up front on that one! Not looking for someone with six-pack abs, just average, like me.
Loyalty and trust are HUGE for me so honesty is an important trait I'm looking for. I also hope you are kind and compassionate towards others, reliable, extra points for being witty and making me laugh. :) It's very important you are a good communicator as that's the cornerstone of a good relationship.
I need someone intelligent that I can talk to but yet doesn't take themselves too seriously and can laugh at themselves. I personally laugh at myself on a daily basis, just sayin'.
