Date a soulmate from California, United States. Life is about enjoying the small things and taking advantage of all the opportunities that cross our path. There are so many little things that people pass up, and I hope to take them all in. I am looking for someone who can enjoy nature, friends and fun with me. Someone to explore new places with and to take on new experiences with. I am not looking for anything serious right away, but I am always looking for the right person to come around. I've tried the whole bar scene for a while, but I never seem to meet any genuine people. I never thought I would be one to be on an online dating site, but I figured its gotta be worth a shot. I think my friends would describe me as a really fun guy to be around who is very loyal and always willing to lend a helping hand. I am the one in my group of friends who is the planner....putting on weekend trips and adventures for anyone who is willing to jump on the bandwagon! Oh ya....and you catch me most evenings whipping something tasty up in the kitchen!
I am a recent graduate of nursing school who is excited to start working to change peoples lives. But as much as I am very passionate about nursing, I see work as a means to support a life of traveling, fun and friends. I am currently spending a lot of time looking for a registered nurse job (hopefully in an ER), and when I am not looking for a job I am outside enjoying our awesome state of California!
Meet someone special from California, United States. I am a young and driven individual who is motivated by career development, staying healthy in order to maintain all around wellness. I feel that I have a great head on my shoulders and would like to meet someone well-rounded with the same outlook and understanding of respect and loyalty as I do and having fun and enjoying each others company at every moment. I have a great family, great friends, and yes, there is a missing link of whom I want to be able to share that with! I love the water, the beach, lakes, water sports boating etc. I do make the gym as part of my daily routine, play my guitars as much as I can and TRY to keep myself as healthy as possible :P Hope to talk to you soon! :)
About you:
I am looking for someone who includes fitness as part of their lifestyle, someone who is just as driven by improving themselves in all aspects as I am. I am looking for a communicator, who when feeling "off" will say so and not hold it in. Someone who will put the same amount of effort into getting to know me as I will them. I understand that this is online dating but the goal is to eventually seek out chemistry in person. It is a turnoff for me when a girl wants to write novels back and forth for weeks at a time...I like my time, I'd rather not waste it on someone who has cold feet about meeting in person...I'm a big fan of heels, class and sophistication...but a little edge behind the scenes is always a nice surprise! ;) Oh, and for crying out loud, you better like Disneyland! haha
Date a boy from Walnut Creek, United States. I moved to Walnut Creek not too long ago and I'm looking for a girl explore the town with, go to the city with, and to experience new places/adventures. I am a Financial Advisor who likes to have a good time when I'm not working. I enjoy playing Golf, Tennis, Racquetball, working out, and going snowboarding. I enjoy going out to eat at new restaurants, find new places, and roam the city, especially in SF. I enjoy going to wine bars, dancing, and sometimes enjoy a quiet night at home cooking dinner while drinking a glass of wine and watching a movie. I always like a good laugh and enjoy making others happy. I like to go wine tasting, travel, and am always up for meeting new people. I like to focus on the important things in life and I am looking for a sweet, nice, genuine girl, who can enjoy the best things in life with me. I want to meet a girl who has a career path in mind or who has started a solid career and knows what she wants out of life. If any of this sounds like you...I'm looking forward to talking to you!
Meet a soulmate from Walnut Creek, United States. My name is Matt. I am 27 y/o and was born and raised in the sacramento area. I work in the Bay Area and split my week staying in the Sacramento Area. I am the father of a beautiful 5 1/2 y/o baby girl and she is the light of my life. I love anything to do with sports and the outdoors. I'm in the healthcare field and absolutely love my job. Im looking for someone that is down to earth and knows what they want in life.
Date single boy from Walnut Creek, United States. I am very empathetic and I try to do all I can to keep those around me smiling, and am not afraid to be a complete dork. I find people who are more extreme personalities a whole lot of fun, and I love them...in small doses. Pretentious know-it-all types annoy me, so don't be one. I am introspective and appreciate the quiet.
I like to surprise people. I think I am quite unique and unexpected, and I know I am good catch. I can also be aloof and spacey at times and have trouble multitasking. I am an animal lover and 'the creative type'. I just recently quit smoking cigarettes!!! Hooray!
Honesty and openness are very important to me and I think they are immediate indicators of people's respect. I am looking for a partner that communicates honestly and often, who is modest and calm.
I am looking for someone for the long haul, I grew up very independant, rarely had anything handed to me, and turned out a pretty amazing person because of it. You should get to know me ;)
I can be snobby about my opinions, but I am mostly charming and a sweetheart and like to play and tease. If you are looking for someone who opens your door first, asks your opinion on matters, brings you flowers at random, and treats you with respect...you just might have found him! I love all sorts of adventure; I love getting out and I love staying in...I could really care less about what I am doing because I rarely find myself bored.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I work in SF, and I am currently working on getting a MBA from CSU East Bay. I like movies, they can be fun and can be done spur of the moment. If there is a new one or I can pick from my collection. I also like to do things outdoors; camping, hiking, exploring, biking. I am not really into the bar scene anymore, just not my speed. Will go to hang with friends but not my first choice of a place to go.
I can be a bit shy a first with new poeple but once I relax I can become much more outgoing. I love to laugh and I do like to crack my own jokes. If a joke is not funny that is fine (they can't all be winners) but if you never find me funny I will be most disappointed. :)
I do like animals, I have had both dogs and cats. I not a fan of rap but am open to most other types of music.
I love technology in almost every form but also enjoy the outdoors. I do play video game sometimes in my spare time. Please know I know where the log off key is and am not afraid to use it! I enjoy camping and day hikes. My record is 18 miles round trip in one day with a 40 pound pack. I am trying to get back into biking, good trails in my area. I also enjoy a nice game of chess from time to time but am a bit rusty
Drop me a line and see what I have to say.
Date a guy from California, United States. NOTE: You have never met anyone like me before, guaranteed. Yeh yeh everyone is "technically" different but I know this cause I hear it all the time with words like nerd, weird, random, smartass, bursting with life/energy, supremely intelligent (ok maybe I added that last one).
I am new to the Bay Area - just relocated from Minnesoooooda and im looking to meet some new people to create some new adventures. Right now I am trying to find the best of the Bay Area and absolutely loving what I am experiencing so far. The food here is to die for! I am in between jobs as a water treatment specialist so I have lots of free time to explore.
I am a very random guy; I can be "that guy" in the room that is chatting up everyone or you may find me reading a book and writing by myself since I value my alone time to expand and grow my brain (**mental image of a growing styrofoam model with water added**). I believe its important to equalize oneself with both social and alone time; there are great positives and negatives to both. I probably sound like an introvert saying that but I am definitely an extrovert.
I absolutely love life and even have optimistic outlooks on things that some get foaming-at-the-mouth rabid over. I have my own different views on society and the world because I like to think outside the box. Life is fun, extremely fun, so please don't waste our time by contacting me if you are a pessimist because I am not interested. That usuallly includes angry republicans and communist/anarchist wannabes - to hit both ends of the spectrum.
What do I like to do? Be random of course; I like spontaneity. Movies: Anchorman, Terminator 2, Ali, The Thing and Cinderella Man are some favs. Restaurants: Thai, Sushi, Mexican, Indian...ok pretty much anything. Exploring new areas is fun: charter fishing, hiking, parks and nature areas, music, etc. My absolute favorite thing is stimulating conversation though. I love learning about people and their story; gets me absolutely excited just thinking about it (Am I cheating by being on match right now?). So needless to say I like old people cause they are easy to talk to and witty with great life stories. Witty is a HUGE plus with me.
There is way too much more to expand on, so lets chat if you liked what you read. That is, if you enjoy talking to a semi-country guy who can do an amazing Fargo accent.
Meet single boy from California, United States. Thanks for stopping by and reading my little post here on match.com. I moved here from Massachusetts almost 3 years ago, and so far it's been quite an experience. I've met some fantastic people and done great things professionally, so I'm excited for what the future holds. I like a lot of the standard guy stuff (football, Clint Eastwood movies, cars, tech gadgetry, things that rule, etc.) and I have a unique sense of humor that catches folks off guard from time to time, but people seem to appreciate.
A curious mind and courage are two of the most inspiring qualities a person can have in my opinion. They're both expressed in so many different ways, and I like to observe. With that being said, I'm the type of guy your brothers would like and your mother would adore.
Date a boy from United States. After reading through a few profiles it would seem that every other girl on here is looking for a "good guy with a great sense of humor who can make her laugh and loves his family". Are there guys on here that are putting "bad guy with no humor who will make you cry and hates his family"?! If there are please send me a link to their profiles so I can report them as possible organ thieves. =P
Lol aaaaanyways, here some random facts about me. aaaaand go!
- If your profile says you are seeking a man with a good job and a nice car then look no further! Also your standards are way too low so we should have a chat about that...
- Currently obsessed with Crossfit and competing in various local competitions. Between training and work, time is a little tight so my ideal girl is one who's not scared of the occasional workout. Yay you get a free personal trainer!
- For some reason ever since I was little I've enjoyed jumping out and scaring people. Lol my sisters may be slightly traumatized because of me.
- I love to smoke crack rocks. Haha jk. Just wanted to make sure you were paying attention. I am pretty into rock climbing lately though.
- I have a Computer Science degree so I'm a certified nerd.
- I think the movies Elf and Megamind are hilarious. If you saw them and didn't think they were funny than I hate you. Please stop reading my profile now. =P
- I once had an awkward moment just to see how it felt.
Meet single boy from United States. Not one to sit on the sidelines and see life pass. I love discovering different places, people, ideas, views and food/drinks everywhere.
Originally from Detroit, but consider the Bay Area my home now. A good Italian and Polish boy with a close family raised to be head strong/smart. I try to make it back at least once a year to see family and friends, or we plan trips to meet somewhere in its place.
I like being active, going out in SF/the Bay, trying new restaurants, and taking advantage of outdoor activities. Just as happy spending a relaxing night home cooking good food, sharing a glass of wine, and watching a movie.
I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh, share conversation, and be adventurous with. Someone intelligent, ambitious, humble, cute, and is different in all the right ways. I'm not looking to change anyone, or them me. But want to find the right girl, where be both have many things in common and we build something with. In the end, I think its all about chemistry.
Let's see where it goes...
Date single man from California, United States. I'm passionate about being active, traveling, experiencing new things and enjoying the present. I love the outdoors, yet also appreciate cuddling next to a warm fire and sharing a glass of wine while watching a film.
I value communication, I'm a good listener and am very easy to talk to. Travel, work, family and friends are top priorities. Being excited about what one does daily is extremely important.
I'm looking for someone who is lighthearted, has a good sense of humor and understands that a smile and bit laughter can go a long way. I am attracted to those that are fun, outgoing, enjoy the outdoors and also appreciate an occasional quiet evening at home.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I moved to Northern CA not too long ago to take an outside sales territory up here. So far I really like Norcal - I've lived in Southern California my entire life so it was a big change for me. If I could convince all my friends and family to move up here it would be perfect! I also miss the warmer socal version of the Pacific Ocean and knowing the entire coastline like the back of my hand from LA to SLO, but moving up here has been great - it has forced me to explore the unknown again. I'm not exactly sure what I'm expecting from this website, but figure it'd be a good idea to meet some new people in the area. I've had mixed feelings of online dating, part of me thinks two people should meet the old fashioned way (aka not online), and part of me thinks it's a great way of meeting people. I figure if you meet someone and completely hit it off, you will continue to hit it off regardless of where you met.
Raised in Southern CA, I grew up loving sports. Even now I need them daily - I have a lot of energy and need a variety of ways to channel that energy into productivity, and usually that goes into either work or some sort of exercise. In high school I got into skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding, and more recently, mountain biking. I love that basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and the sports I grew up with can be played almost anywhere - that gives me the peace of mind to know that I could live almost anywhere. I also love that you really have to get out in nature to surf, go mountain biking, or snowboard. That really adds an element of beauty that organized sports can't. And then there's running...not the most fun thing in the world, but I consider it such a gift. There isn't anything else where I can just throw on shoes, an Ipod, hit the streets, and each time get that introspective escape and spiritual recharge. I've done 2 marathons and one half, and although I don't think the body is meant to take the abuse of running 26.2 miles in a row, it's a great feeling crossing the finish line and to own that accomplishment for life...it's also kinda cool to run a marathon w thousands of other people - there's a real fun positive energy unlike anything else. I'll probably do another one but I don't know when. I like variety in life, and being able to enjoy many different things is important to me. I have no desire to master one sport or activity in life - I would rather be great at a lot of things.
I recently ditched my cable and it has been really nice. I've started reading much more, and in June 2012 I created a bucket list that has given me quite a bit of inspiration. Whenever I'm bored or feel negative thoughts coming on, I just go back to the list and do something on it. It has continued to grow because I ask other people what they think I should add to it. It has become sort of a cultural and social outlet for not only my own but also ideas from a variety of people. The only downside is its negative effect on the bank account, so I've got to be careful not to go overboard, and remember to take things slow sometimes. I'm torn about what to do once the football and then basketball seasons start - I'm thinking I'll probably cave and get cable again, but we shall see.
I love dogs and have a pretty funny German Shepherd named Max that ditched all his obedience classes (think of the movie Marley and me). I went to city college in Santa Barbara and then finished my bachelor's degree in business at CSUCI. I'm contemplating going for a PhD in Positive Psychology but I'm undecided if I want to make the financial commitment necessary.
I eat healthy, and I'm truly open to trying out new things. I guess the rest you'll just have to figure out on your own
