Okay I was reading about the 7 secrets of lasting love...and #7 is "Spend time apart...if your partner's idea of the perfect vacation is six straight days of golf and yours is a week of sitting poolside and devouring mystery novels, there is no reason that you can't vacation separately". I don't know about you but I think that if I wanted to go golfing for a week I would take you with me and if you golfed great if not you can read by the pool...I would even read by the pool with you ...who plays golf for 6 days straight anyway?

I am a beach bum and love lying on the beach whenever i get the opportunity. I have a particular love for St John in the US Virgin Islands. That is "my island" and where i always disappear to when i need a break. There I hike, snorkel, lay on the beach, sip daiquiris, explore old ruins, walk through the jungle. There's nothing like it.
