We look at this site as some sort of savior....to finding our "soul mate's or our happily ever after", but there's no computer on the planet that can or could match a meeting by destiny or by fate. If we were or are meant to be, then there is a higher being involved. I surrender to his will and though this on line avenue provides an opportunity to meet people we may not normally meet, then I'm in. Maybe the right one will come along and we will find each other attractive and then we spark up some sort of friendship, then we decide we like each other. then the rest is magic.
I've traveled the globe extensively due to the last 30 years of being in the Navy and have met a lot of great people. I've been married twice. I am honest and believe in family ethics with a Christian outlook. I'm semi retired but still enjoy working but I also like to have fun. I surf, snow ski, and am in the middle of learning to fly gliders and some day hope to have my pilots license. I like women that like to have fun and laugh, enjoy life, loves adventure, enjoys a movie but not a couch potato.
I like a good hearty beer like Arrogant Bastard Ale and a Cabernet with good tannins or a nice Merlot. I believe in connections with people and if we aren't connected via physically and then soulfully.........then we can say "it was nice" but ....it just wasn't meant to be.
Respect is everything in a relationship and it's important to me we both share it. Like most people, I am looking for chemistry in a relationship. I like a woman that pampers herself and takes care of herself physically and mentally. If she's a girly girl then right on, but wearing a pair of jeans is just as sexy as getting dolled up. I don't have a football team or sporting event hat I watch religiously ...and if it's nice outside then I'm outside.

I try to work out five days a week but lately.....I've been on vacation. I think it's only fair that my partner tries to stay in some sort of physical condition as well.
I am an oil painter in my spare time and when I'm on, I spend time in the studio painting. This means my gal is either hanging out with me having a glass of wine listening to the blues with me or is independent enough that she doesn't feel I am ignoring her or trying to control her. I paint. If a girl likes to have an occasional beverage, I'm ok with that because I like's my beer and good wine as well, but as long as she isn't a sloppy drunk....I'm good. A sloppy drunk is a deal breaker. I'm not sure anymore if there's such a thing as "Soul Mates" but I see true love in people all the time and just want the same thing....i.e.Chemistry. It's Gods will and when he decides.....then it's soul mates I guess.
