I have to say that I think the best way to get to know someone is to meet and talk with them, but I guess I should write something interesting to get that to happen. I'm just about to graduate with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August. It's been a long road but I'm looking forward to the next step. I've been in the fields of healthcare and sport for the past dozen years or so. I worked as an athletic trainer at all levels from high school to the pro's, but now I'm looking forward to helping those much less fortunate.
I grew up in Manhattan Beach up in LA, but since moving to San Diego for my undergraduate degree I simply can't leave. My interests vary widely but here are a few. I love to travel. Now that I'm done with school I plan one seeing many, many places. The next stop might be Europe as I really want to check out the Nordic countries of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. I'm also a soccer (football) fan and plan on going to Brazil for the next World Cup. I love the beach as I spent so many years growing up next to the best beaches in the world. Exercise is also important to me and I can be found either at the gym or bike riding around most days of the week. My family is spread out from LA to DC but they are very important to me and I don't get to see them as much as I like but I have great friends I hang out with so it helps.
I think one of the most important things to know about me is that I'm a "curious person". To me this means I'm constantly asking questions and trying to figure things out, be that foriegn languages, politics, science, history,psychology etc. It's simply one of those things I can't seem to get enough of. The world is so big with so many wonderous things to see and learn I'm constantly in awe. Well, This seems like a good stopping point so let me know if you want to meet in person! I'm an IT geek by day, and a fitness pro by night. I love to laugh and as much energy as I have, I love hunkering down with a big ol' mug of coffee and the Sunday paper; or suggling up with some appetizers, dinner, wine and tv or movie. Quiet time is equally as valued as 'up' time. I like balance.
Being raised between two cities, San Diego, CA and Chicago, IL, I feel like I have two hometowns and they're both fabulous! Traveling is one of my all time fun things to do and I'm a firm believer that the journey should be almost as fun as the destination. Did you catch I'm a huge football fan too? Game days at my house are filled with family, friends and food! Non-game weekends are usually spent wine tasting, catching up with my DVR (I'm backlogged!), finding my balance on my road bike cruising the coast, getting my back yard in shape (silly weeds!), BBQ-ing with friends...really depends on the weather, the weekend and the mood :)

Meet a soulmate from Vista, United States. My life is a crazy cluster of experiences. What some may call baggage I look at as lessons. It's only when we fail to learn the lessons life brings that it becomes baggage. I enjoy spending time with friends, one on one or in small groups. I have never been a party girl, no all nighters for me. I love to eat, and I love to nap. I enjoy being outdoors, be it a walk through the park, a stroll down the beach, or road tripping with with windows down and the sunroof open. I'm a fairly mellow person, not quite a risk taker. I'd like to think it would be fun to skydive and zipline, but I am admittedly a bit of a coward, would have to ease into the idea with some encouraging support. I love animals; love children. And I absolutely love to laugh. There can never be enough laughter in one's life.
I suppose I should address who I'm looking for...no one. I'm not looking for someone to make my life complete, that's my job. I'm looking for friends, anyone who might enjoy sharing a few random experiences, be it with food, watching a movie, or wandering aimlessly while exploring somewhere new, or any other number of things. If you are looking for the love of your life, the woman to complete your story, then I'm probably not her. If you're looking for friends with benefits, I'm definitely not her. But friends...one can never have too many friends in life.

I also like to take pictures of the places Ive traveled through. I also like watching movies and reading books. I tend to be a workaholic but when Im off of work I like to relax and enjoy myself. I go to the beach and drive my son to school each morning. I work in Nonprofit and like it. I like getting tulips for no reason at all and love going out for coffee in the mid morning. Meet men and women from California, United States. I'm fairly recently divorced and looking to move on. I'm fun, outgoing, and a people person. I have many friends whom I try to see on a regular basis, unless of course my time will be otherwise preoccupied. I have a good sense I humor, and pretty much laugh at most things. But I can only take so much of the childish, immature jokes. But many times I will humor you and laugh anyway. I don't like men who are brash and rude, especially those who cuss at little things and one of my biggest pet peeve is men who flip off other people. Trashy and no class!
I'm looking for someone who's fun but grounded, smart and quick to figure things out, witty with a great sense of humor. I can't tolerate temper and being physical with me. I'm pretty fragile emotionally and get very affected by everything around me. I'm always open to learning new things. There are still many things I haven't done and my bucket list is pretty long. Responsibility is very important to me. He needs to know what his priorities are. Slackers are a big turn off. Once in a while procrastinating is ok with me. I know there are those days that I've put things off. But doing it on a regular basis is not ok. Also, I don't like people who say they're going to do something and not do it. I'm the type of person who will hang onto your word and expect it. Getting disappointed too many times makes me loose my faith in everything between us.
I have kids and they're my life. They are fabulous, smart, funny, kind and thoughtful. It's the way they were raised and it's not over yet. Everything I do affects them. So every decision I make will always have them in thought.
I'm trying this out because, really, I'm tired of the pick-up tactics and a little burned out. I'd really want to share my life with someone whom I can share laughter, smiles, soft touches with and...other things. So, I'm sure with what I've said many will run away. Oh well...
