I was a Mental Health Counselor (LCSW) for the last 25 or so years before I retired, having gone back to college and Graduate School in my 30’s, and then moving from Maryland to the High Desert area of California… how’s that for a life change?!?
I’m looking for a single woman who’s looking for a single man. I have no kids, but I do have two cats. I do not drive. Used to ride a Harley but had a bad wreck in 1991. In 2007 a Neurologist said that it was possible that I MIGHT have seizures as a result of the head injury I received in that wreck. I never have, and told him so, but he told the DMV that I “could” or “might” have seizures, and they took my Driver’s License. It’s been 19 years and no “seizures” yet, but you can’t argue with a Doctor! So the attitude of the DMV is that since I can’t prove that I’m NOT going to have a seizure, they’re taking my License just in case! It’s an annoyance. I live in Victorville, CA, and I have gotten pretty good at the LOCAL Bus system! Of course not driving tends to limit who I can get to, to see in person!

Life is not me, me, me, it is best when shared with two people that are givers, in heart, spirit, and love. He enjoys entertaining and enjoys holidays with family and friends. I have a wonderful large Greek family, and relatives and we are huggers and kissers - we love our times together and have lots of laughs and special memories we share with one another. They are the most fun people in the world! If you don't enjoy hugging and kissing and a fun family and relatives then please pass - they are a special part of what i have to offer in a relationship! It is important to have a good relationship with your family - when someone is not talking to the family I wonder if all has been done to try to repair the relationship. If they are not nice people then understand. MOST and foremost! My ideal person will be KIND TO EVERYONE and kind to the waitress and people that serve them in different ways as you don't know what they are going through in their lives and why not make their day happier? Remember the movie "As Good As It Gets"? He loves animals, children and a people person. Loves to travel and the two of us can share our special places that we have visited with each other and make those places even more special. We share each others interests and allow each other personal space and time and share a desire to grow. We accept each other for who we are and not try to make a completely new person out of someone that is already a good person! He is a best friend, lover, and can't get enough of each other. He is smart and knows how important it is to smell the roses and be grateful for each new day that has been gifted to us - life is a gift - so let's sing and dance to the same music in life!
