Date someone special from United States. I am a manly man who loves the outdoors. I am also very comfortable in a 5 star restuarant wearing a suit and tie. I prefer meaningful conversations versus making small talk. I would rather talk face to face than over the phone. There is no accounting for chemistry. However, it is only in person that we can actually experience it. You then either have it, or you do not. Sometimes, it is apparent right away. Other times, it grows slowly but strongly. On another note the things I say I do, I actually do! I have a very stressful job so when I get home I prefer to relax in the jacuzzi, watch the sun go down, the moon come up or sit by one of my 3 fireplaces. With that said, I can sit and relax by the fire with a glass of wine or do just about anything that comes to mind. I go to the gym almost every day, play and coach volleyball, water ski, snow ski, scuba dive, hike, camp, fish, been sky diving, river raft, travel, dance, cook, massage, pool, darts, ping pong, explore, play tournament poker, wine taste, etc, etc! lol Also, I am not much for e-mail. Meet a woman from Ventura, United States. I am finally going to write something about myself and am finding it a little difficult. I am just going to start and let it flow out however it comes. Here it goes: Most people would guess my age in the early forties. The photos are current except the one with my daughter was about three years ago May 2009.
I was married for 14 years and divorced in 1992. No regrets from the marriage. Just grew in different directions and have two amazing, successful adult children. I then got into a 14 year relationship with a great partner, companion, lover. He passed away May of 2011. After much grief and personal reflection, I am ready and excited about moving on in life.
My family and friends would describe me as kind, attractive, funny, sensitive, free spirited, independent.
Laughter is such good medicine. I like to do it often. It's nice to meet people that generate good energy.
I have been going to Yoga classes regularly for the past 6 months and want to continue for life. Dancing has also been a love of mine. I would like to do more. I also enjoy, walking, bike riding, hiking, and swimming.
Music is big on my list of "loves". All types, old 50's, 60's to today's new music. Some bands that stand out in my playlist: Crosby, Stills, Nash, Neil Young, Eddie Veder, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Alternative, Reggae, Soul and Mowtown, Salsa and much much more. This is in no particular order. Chili Peppers, White Stripes, Amy Winehouse, I don't know when to stop. Music is just way up there on the feel good scale.
I like all types of food and enjoy eating healthy most of the time. Would love to travel more. I love the beach (live on the beach), mountains especially Yosemite, desert and the city.
