Date a man from United States. Going to take it slow here at first. Never tried this before so I expect it will be a learning experience for while. Haven't had much luck meeting anyone the old fashion way, and friends suggested I try this. I am looking for someone who enjoys having fun and is enjoys being around people.

My family is an American story... My father is from Cuba and my mother is a coal miners daughter. Kinda reminds one of "I love Lucy". Just not as silly. And yes, that's where I get my red hair. I think this is where I get my STRONG life values, old world courtesy and Midwest work ethic. But that does not limit my sense of humor. I love to laugh and have fun. I even get Monte Python... I love the outdoors. Nature and all her beauty is sometimes absolutely breathtaking.
I am looking for someone with the same honorable values. Someone fun loving. Someone who doesn't mind getting a little dusty outdoors. That's not to say the great outdoors is the only setting of interest for me, dinner and a movie is fun as well.
I would like to find someone to love and be my best friend. And yes, that would include a serious relationship. I have a lot to give and and am generous to a fault.

I've had the same job for 32 years. I've never been unemployed.I'm going to retire in 3 years 10 months. I enjoy cooking and entertaining. My friends tell me I'm a great cook, I thing I'm just good. As you can tell by my pics, I am the outdoors type of guy. Whether I'm skiing in Tahoe of camping in Mammoth. Most of my travels have been to ski in other states. I've also been to Canada twice to ski.

I'm not a believer in "love at first sight" (well, it hasn't worked for me except to get me into trouble, sadly) ... You would understand my Christian faith (and its importance in my life and how I live because of it) because you also follow Jesus Christ, or have just discovered or rediscovered your faith, and desire to grow in it ... Able to sit and talk about the world's many facets (agree to agree, agree to disagree, and agree to learn more together -- toss in a good joke now and then, 'cause life is way too short to be serious all the time) ... While we might have much in common, we'd both realize and understand that our differences are the points from which we would grow, and not necessarily points of conflict ... Well-read about a lot of things, love music and visual arts ... That's where it starts ... and God takes it from there (uh, well, He takes it from the start, but maybe you know what I mean ... ) Bonus points (but not required) if you like to run (no you don't have to be a marathoner or anything like that), and/or play guitar, bass, keyboard or drums, and know who Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Brooke Ligertwood, Shane and Shane, Jon Egan, Tim Hughes and Matt Redman are ... :-)
ME: Writing about myself isn't exactly fun, so maybe I can get you some references? On second thought, maybe not ... Let's try it this way ... What I like to do: Try to learn something new every day; Bible study; learning more deeply about my faith; read, write, shoot photos (my avocation); play the guitar and sing with the church band and on my own; LOVE TO LAUGH!!! ... Surf the 'Net; run (10Ks, half-marathons and marathons) bike; workout at the gym; go to movies or watch videos/DVDs ("thinking" movies or just plain funny movies -- love Pixar movies, "Avatar" rocked, and so did "Book of Eli" and "Moneyball"); go to concerts; hit the beach or spend a day a museum; long walks, long talks (oh, man, did I write that? How cliche ... :-o )
Possible spoiler note for some: My Christian faith is very important to me ... it's about a continuing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ -- not religious rituals, not showy, "holy roller" stuff, and most definitely *not* influenced by right wing politics, or any politics for that matter -- but a way of life that I pray is sincere, humble and authentic ... OK, more to the point: love God with everything that I have and everything that I am, and love others as He loves them :-) ... I'm nowhere near being perfect, though, and if you're looking for a knight in shining armor, you may want to look elsewhere -- my armor is dented and tarnished. But if you don't mind someone with (very correctable) flaws and honestly sees the value of them being pointed out to get them fixed, maybe we might click ... :-)

Well if you were able to get past my pics without "clicking out"... then maybe I am not doing too bad yet....
I’m an Aquarius and very open minded and kind. I’m creative but analytical—things have to make sense for me to embrace them. I balance that with a twist of wit and humor and can be downright crazy sometimes. My friends will tell you that I tend to take the high road but what do they know?. I also enjoy travel, camping, visiting friends (yours and mine), movies, shopping, basketball, tennis, concerts, beach, working out, and anything that sounds fun..
I want to meet a woman who is happy doing simple things but adventurous and willing to pick up and go without complication. Pretentious women are likely to send me running, I don't need to impress anyone and I try to keep it face value. What the heck? if my charm, wit and humor, (sometimes dry) don't knock'm dead; no flashy alter ego will make a difference. A little GQ has it's place but I find comfort in a pair of old jeans. I respect someone who knows where she wants to go but doesn’t always have to be “in the driver’s seat” although there are times when it’s necessary and appreciated. She is willing to go everywhere with me; A concert, Romantic dinner, out with friends, a trip to anywhere, or just to spend time together.... I want to share life with a loving partner. I have no desire for flings. I find myself with more free time at this point in my life but I'm not sure if that's a good thing as I have been told.
