Meet someone special from Union City, United States. Hi everyone! Finding love in the right places can be very challenging these days. It can be difficult to find the right life partner to be at our side.
I'm a pretty much laid back type of person. People say that I tend to go with the flow of things in life and limit my "confrontation" with others. I like to keep people happy in their life and accept them the way they are. I can be content with what I have, but I would like to share what I have with the "love" of my life in the near future. Yes, we are social creatures - being alone can be good, but it can have it's obvious downfalls. I.e. just having someone with you & knowing they love and care for you is so important.
So to be straight forward, I'm looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. I like outdoor activities such as camping, road trips to where I suddenly need to find a local hotel to stay the night, weekend getaways, walks/running, "window" shopping along a mall, or just hang out at a coffee shop and people watch. I also like to go to sporting events - mainly football and baseball.
On the other hand, I do like to mellow out indoors. I like casual dining, hanging out at coffee shops, bookstores. Sometimes I would cook at home so I'm trying out my creative culinary side of me-parents used to own a restaurant. I love to watch a good movie, either at home or at the local movie theater. At a theater, I find it best enjoying a movie with someone tho ;) rather than alone. I like to experience and absorb the different cultures, so I do like (and want) to travel to different places.
I'm looking for someone similar in interests. I'm very open to new adventures and interests in life - maybe you can help me find more of my hidden talents? I'm open to meeting new people. I'm 40 years old and a professional in high tech (gee, how unique in the Bay Area). I am an avid cyclist and runner and have now decided to tackle triathlons. I enjoy live music...most kinds, whether it's jazz, symphony, or rock. And yes, I genuinely enjoy opera....I saw Carmen this past season in San Francisco and it was outstanding.
One of my favorite ways to spend an evening is to share a bottle of wine while cooking for my friends....I try to put on a great show and we all get to participate in the finish. Ask me about my skirt steak saltimboca (or if you dare, call my bluff and ask me to make it for you).
I've got two boys....they're fantastic and add such richness to my life. We love to goof off with each other, listen to music, and go play sports (lots of baseball and soccer).

I'm a proud father of 3 amazing kids. Two boys 15 and 19 and my princess is 13. I'm a dj and have been for over 20 years but don't let that scare you off. I'm not some young kid in the business with a player mentality, I'm a father with no time for games. If I wasn't serious or looking for the same things you are, I wouldn't be on here right? Oh, and I'm not bald, I just like my hats so that's why I'm always wearing one in my pictures :) I would describe myself as honest, goofy, trustworthy, fun, a great communicator, and listener. I have no problem opening up and saying how I feel. I'm understanding and have never been labeled stubborn. I usually have people cracking up and I bet and I can get you to also. I love all styles of music and seeing it live is the best whether it's a concert in the park with a cover band or the real deal. Oh, and I love Disneyland. Yeah, kinda dorky to admit but, I love that place and I try to take my kids every year. I love the beach, especially Capitola. Simple things go a long way with me which means I never take things for granted. Small things can bring the biggest smiles. Walks around the lake, window shopping just walking around in downtown areas like Los Gatos, Santana Row, or Palo Alto are always fun.
I'd say I'm looking for someone fun, sweet, affectionate, and that can communicate. Communication is so important. No one is a mind reader so if a person can open up and say what's on their mind, that's always a plus. Also, I think the best friend quality is important.
