Weekend getaways to not-so-far-away places and dinner with friends are a couple of my favorite diversions. Having traveled through most of western Europe and England, I enjoy discovering places off the beaten track. I also lived on the East Coast, in Connecticut, for about sixteen years, and found it to be an enjoyable change of lifestyle, and often entertain the thought of moving back there and living a quieter life in an old farmhouse.
Being opinionated and stubborn, there is also a playful side to me. Leaning towards a quieter, simpler lifestyle than most, to me, a morning walk through the woods behind my house beats the hell out of coffee at Starbucks. Having a short attention span for small talk, I prefer to spend my time and conversation with one or two close friends. I guess that makes me a bit of an introvert.

To me, this means placing my focus on the "process" of finding the love of my life. I will start by introducing myself as happy and optimistic and feel complete in most areas of my life. I am a very good listener and am comfortable about sharing my thoughts and feelings. I am many things actually, . . . a father (grown son & daughter that I am very close to), artist, educator, dancer, tennis player, explorer, mountaineer, . . . student of many things and a good friend. By profession, I teach drawing & painting at the college level and cannot think of anything else that would have rather pursued as a career. I maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay fit through several activities of pursuit. I am fun to be with, have a great sense of humor and enjoy being around others who also like to have a good time. I have a deep respect for nature and live in a very rural setting. Oh by the way, I am a gentleman.
Disclosure: I recently had my chronological age, relative to biological age, evaluated with the results being that my biological age is actually 54 relative to my chronological age of 67 years -- so, . . .
