Ok back to me.
Basically, I’m a single self-sufficient, unattached (not looking for a MOTHER figure), hopeless romantic who refuses to settle for less.
As you can tell by my profile I’ve never been married. But PLEASE don't let that scare you away. I suppose I just haven’t met the right person yet. You know, someone who compliments your life rather than weighing it down with a bunch of drama.
In other words, I'm looking for a true partner in life who is willing to take the good with bad and not stress the little things. I've been told I can be somewhat "picky" (I prefer the word “selective”). But by no means am I claiming to be perfect. I have my trivial issues just like everyone else, I just try not to let them rule my life.
So here's what I've been dealing with as a single man as of late. My dating pool has been limited to the work place (almost never a good idea), the gym and the "chance meeting". And to add to the madness, where does a guy go to meet single women? The gym or the grocery store perhaps? You can only hang out in the produce section for so long before someone calls for security (not that it has ever happened to me). But you know what I mean. And as for the club scene, it gets old real fast. Even though this is where I sometimes end up when hanging out with friends (I know, vicious circle).
Ok, all done with my rant or was that just a cry for help?
Sorry about that. I'm back in my happy place again, it's all good. :)
So with that said, I've decided to give this on-line dating a try and see what happens???
On a more personal level I’d describe myself as an easy-going, passionate, open-minded person who enjoys his career and what life has in store. I would also describe myself as a spiritual person with a good sense of humor, I fine that to be an even balance.
My philosophy in life is to never allow a stressful moment to consume more than that moment. After all what’s done is done, right?
As for activities, I enjoy going to the gym (when time permits). Trying new restaurants (got to have my sushi). I can also get into some home cooking when the mood strikes me. Yeah, I can cook (no onions please). Catching a concert from time to time is one of my guilty pleasures. I must admit I am a bit of a concert junky. So if you’re into live music that’s a plus but if not we can always find something else to do. I’m also into working on the house. Although at times it seems to be more of a chore than a passion.
As far as my perfect match goes, first and foremost there has to be a physical attraction. I find myself more attracted to women with a petite to average slender athletic build (no man hands). Don't get me wrong, I'm not into the anorexic model look. In fact there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a little junk in the trunk just as long as it’s proportional and well kept. Hay don't judge, I’m just being honest. all I'm saying is there’s nothing wrong with a well kept woman. :)
Oh, and a good smelling women is always a big plus (innocent story, I’ll tell you later).
But beyond the physical there has to be substance (inner beauty). I'm hoping to meet someone with similar interests who's not afraid to laugh at themselves or try new things. In short, I’m looking for an adventurous open-minded survivor of life who’s true to themselves.
And of course HONESTY and COMMUNICATION are a must!
I truly believe that person is still out there. We just haven’t had the opportunity to meet yet.
