This includes running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and anything with a motor. I own two jet skis and spend a large amount of time in the summer out at Havasu Springs. I enjoy getting creative for date ideas, its fun thinking outside of the typical movies, dinner, bowling. I have an apartment down in San Diego but spend half my time in Temecula and will moving there in a few months. While down in SD I volunteer with an exchange student program as it’s a blast learning about different cultures. Currently I am working full time in Public Service and would like to someday join the CHP. I usually set high goals for myself because I believe that with hard work and determination there are no limits to what people can do. Currently I'm going to National University full time and went to Palomar College for 2 years to get my degree. I have a pretty comical and sarcastic look on life. Not to say I can't be serious at times. I live to find the joy and humor in everyday life, so I consider myself a guy who pursues happiness since I think about the future, but live in the present and rarely gets troubled with the issues of tomorrow. I used to be a smoker when I was younger (Yeah I know, disgusting habit), but I haven't had one in over 5 years. A friend of mine helped me find a more productive outlet, so now I've fallen into the habit of a healthy lifestyle. I exercise everyday except for weekends and the occasional friday. (Have to put time in for some fun right?) But I digress, family is MAJOR for me. The values and disciplines I've learned as a child made me into the man I am today, and I'm grateful for it. Respect also comes into play with family. If you don't respect your own family then how can I expect you to have respect or teach it to our family should it come to that.
I love being outdoors and I've two crazy dogs who I take fishing, camping, and hunting. I love being outside, especially around water. I only have one major vice and that's golf. So there you have it, me in a nutshell.

Born in in California I do have the laid back so-cal attitude along with an enjoyment of sunshine and the perfect weather. The first place I went to abroad was Germany, and I think it instilled a love of adventure in me. The next country is Ukraine and while there I picked up a love for Russian/Ukrainian food as well as an enjoyment for beautiful art and old cities. While teaching English abroad in the Republic of Georgia (South of Russia) I realized how much I missed warm weather but I also love history to as seen in my long hike to visit a 1000 year old monastery can be.
I am currently working on my masters degree in history. History has been my passion since I was a child and so I think I should stick with what im natural at. Through history I came to enjoy everything from politics to literature. I also am an active guy and I do yoga and martial arts. My goals are I want to make a difference and travel some more, simple I know.
