I am looking for someone who wants to be with a man; wants to teach him her language, needs etc. and enjoys conversation. All of this is predicated on an ability to be intimate, or vulnerability; not a lion tamer, but someone who can pick up on how important pace is in a relationship. I want to think of her everytime I go past a flower or card shop; I am a romantacist; so she must love being doted on (not the 'cotton candy' kind, more like a smile across the room). I am not talking 'trophy' wife, not something to take for granted; I want to join someone in a new shared 'life circle'. I don't want to suggest that I am needy or glomming; just that I pay attention to details and appreciate others that do too.
I would like someone who will love my children; I have two. They both are college graduates with their master's. Both are married. Andria (29) had my first grandchild Alexis (two year old girl--update, pregnant again with a boy five months along). My youngest, Abbey (27), gave birth to my second grand baby (a boy) a month ago. I have processed a few major disappointments; they served to teach me how to deal with humiliation; I have no problem crying; I am not bitter (anger one no longer wants to get rid of), but I do have a low tolerance for abuse, physically or mentally; double that for kids. I was a single foster parent for ten years, and chose to work in the Social Work/Educational fields for a career; I have some skeletons in my closet, but have been teaching them to dance now for several years!
I am so ready for a happy, healthy full filling relationship. I started giving away my toys when I realized others wanted them. I knew I wanted to work with chlldren when I was very young. My mission statement regarding this, has been well supported through-out my 35 years as a therapist and professor.

I’ve been divorced over 15 years all my kids are grown now and college educated. I’m retired from the military, work part time as a instructor for a private school for construction law, plus I’m working on my teaching credentials at Fullerton College to teach part time.
