What am I willing to share about me:
1) When I am comfortable with my surroundings I can be very funny.
2) I am always helping people. I mean real help. Like shelter and safety kind of help. Has something to do with my ego and my inferiority complex.
3) Between work and school I never had a family of my own. That is a great regret. I am still willing, but also willing to be a part of someone else's or perhaps not write that chapter at all. That would be sad, but I will accept whatever my destiny holds.
4) Many consider me a genius. That is much more of a curse then a blessing. Makes it hard to accept most people as they are without wanting them to be better. I believe no one of us is any more special then the rest. We all have greatness inside of us. I do not consider myself a genius in any way. Quite the contrary. However, I have always been very good with math and money and now I am wealthy by any standards... Accept my own. Financial abundance is worthless unless it is used to better people's lives. I help others but would really like to focus on my own inner circle.
5) I spent the first 40 years living in the Dana Point area. If you think $2,500 for a handbag is a good use of money then we are not a match. I definitely enjoy comfort but $2,500 can mean an awful lot to a struggling family. How much could it cost to make a purse anyway? That being said, I have begun an art collection and have 6 commissioned paintings hanging around... But hey - a handbag depreciates a lot once it's used right?
6) After standing on my pedestal in #5, I should admit that I think any car or motorcycle is a bargain. I really enjoy new technology and would rather drive a hot new car then spend it on an oversize diamond. But that's just me. We each have our own values.
7) Love and Service. Selfless, not selfish. These are values I work on daily. I am not a dictator by any means. I do not believe in the Golden Rule. I believe we are all equal on this planet and in a relationship.
8) I love all dogs. Period.
9) I don't vacation enough. I used to all of the time. Now, even though I am officially retired, I work pretty darned hard every day managing all the stuff I have going on. The iron is very hot these days and I am striking while I can. But I do need to get back to Hawaii or Tahiti. Maybe someplace new. Somewhere in this country. I haven't been around it much.
10) I read everyday and try to grow spiritually. I also try to eat healthy. I'm not looking for a cook. I have a great one that feeds me healthy food during the week.
11) I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I am absolutely fine if you drink, prefer it if you don't smoke but am willing to work with you if you are trying to quit. Drugs scare the poop out of me so please stay away if that is your thing.
12) I do not require physical perfection at all. Nice teeth and smile please. If you weigh more then you want to (join the club) please acknowledge it and be willing to work on it. Weight is temporary. A great connection is forever. You don't need to be a size 0 to make me happy. Just be happy and honest, with a great wit and smile to match. And be willing to work on your physique if you are not happy with it.
I am sure I'll make some changes to this. For those of you who are single and do not want to be... Be more accepting of others. Look for similarities rather then differences. Happiness with another begins with yourself (darn am I on my pedestal again. I've got to stop doing that).

Since the father is military and now lives on the east coast, i have been basically a single mom, so my kids always come first. I truely enjoy being a mom. I have learned in the last couple of years though that I also have to make time for me too.
We have lived in Cali for 8 years now. We absolutely love it. 5 years ago, I got this great job that introduced me to having fun again in MY life. It gives me the resources to enjoy many of the wonderful activities that this area has to offer: learned to scuba dive, went kayaking, learned to snowboard, joined a couple co-ed softball teams, a womans soccer team one year, picked up the wonderful but frustrating game called golf and most of all-I learned how to play the funnest game ever-Tennis. Growing up, my dad taught me how to fix things at home: I can handle a power tool, change the oil in my scooter, kill a spider, put in a new garbage disposal, put in a cealing fan/light and a few other handy things. On the other hand, I love being a girl; dressing up, getting my nails done, putting on makeup, being pampered and romanced. I enjoy being outdoors and living life. I also enjoy a good meal and then curling up to a cozy fire and good movie. I definately am not a night club/bar hopper. i go to bed farely early and love getting up early and enjoying the day and sun light!! I enjoy most sports: playing or watching.
