I grew up on the outskirts of Salem, Oregon in a rural farming community. We had 2.25 acres of land which made me fall in love with nature. I feel so relaxed when amongst the trees, hills, streams, and lakes, so I'm always up for a hike and meditation in nature. My parents and I were short term inter-denominational Christian missionaries back in 1985-87. I've been to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Tahiti in a ministry capacity. I have since travelled to Australia, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and El Salvador. Hard to pick a favorite here, but I have quite an affection for the Japanese. I speak a bit of Japanese, French, and Spanish and would like to learn Portuguese. Traveling has given me such a love for cultures and their various religions. While I have spent most of my career in technology (I started off professionally when I was 16), my degree in college was in Sociology and Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Religion. Why not computer science? Well I have found that PEOPLE are far more complicated (and interesting) than computers. The technology has always come easy to me and since it changes constantly one just needs to continuously learn to keep up.
I have started a 4th company -- so very entrepreneurial in nature -- and my love of people has continued. My religious beliefs have certainly broadened over the years and have recently realized that I have a gift and passion towards healing people. I still have much to learn, and I'm realizing I need to trust my intuition and not worry about what people think. I can't logically explain how much of it works, I just know people feel the energy and are thankful afterwards. A lady I worked on Friday night called me Saturday morning to say she couldn't believe how hot my hands got and that her back pain was gone. I am blessed to be of service.
I have learned that God is GREATER than our theology, and more POWERFUL than any of our doctrines. So best to keep an open mind when talking about God and His rather diverse set of children. :)
Spirituality is clearly important to me. I'm looking for someone who is also interested in ministry. So what is my theology? Love God, Love others, and love yourself. (Sometimes that last one is tougher than the others.) I try not to judge people, for we are all on our various paths and I've always appreciated loving encouragement along the way rather than condemnation -- I think that makes for better religion, don't you?
I also appreciate a clean and organized living environment. If people "drop in" I don't want to be panicking what the place looks like. I also have a gift of hospitality, so enjoy people visiting and having the occasional party.
I do have two kids from a previous marriage, but they live up in Oregon, so unfortunately rarely see them. I hope my sincerity comes through and this information helps you make a clearer decision.

I love nature, so I like gardening a lot. Every spring and summer I grow different fruits and vegetables, not so much about flowers. With that you can tell I like cooking - yes, I do. I also run 5-10 miles a week and take dance and kickboxing classes at the gym. My closest friends would describe me as an easy-going, outgoing and affectionate person.
