Politics, for example: I love to watch MSNBC -- The Raquel Maddow Show, especially (I love her, by the way!) -- and get riled up on the current political climate: it drives some people nuts, but I think it's educational and fun!
I also passionately love music. I love various types, but tend to always go back to rock music: The Beatles, The Stones, The, Kinks, etc; "alternative" rock: Nirvana, The Pixies, Robin Hitchcock, (old) REM, Minutemen, etc; I grew up in the 80's, so I love (for better for worse!) a lot of 80's bands and artists: Tears For Fears, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, INXS, U2, The Alarm, Elvis Costello, The Clash, etc. I also love a lot of different types of genres: Rock En Espa?ol: Soda Stereo, Cafe Tacvba, Babasonicos, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs; Afrobeat: Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor; Johnny Cash (RIP, Johnny.... this man deserves his own genre!); Latin: Mercedes Sosa, Lila Downs, Julieta Venegas, Soledad, Jorge Cafrune; Reggae: Bob Marley, The Wailers, and on and on.... Like I said, I am very passionate about music. I love to listen to it, read about it, play it (I'm a bass player), watch documentaries, attend clubs and concerts...you get the idea, right!?
I'm also into cooking and going out to eat (I am a very adventurous eater, and would love the same in a partner, although, it's not a deal breaker): I'm Argentine so I enjoy Italian, and also Mexican, Japanese, Vietnamese, Armenian (I love Armenian food!), Greek; gourmet and little holes in the wall.
I love to watch good movies -- I stay clear of horror movies (I'm not scared, I just don't like certain images in my head!); comedies are great fun! By the way, you must know up front that I have a major crush on Kristen Wiig (SNL, Bridesmaids), so if you can deal with that, we'll be OK! (I love funny people in general, but especially funny women: Zooey [Descanel], Whitney Cummings, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler, etc.) I also enjoy good documentaries, foreign films (wasn't The Secret of their Eyes great?!), and dramas. Whew! That's a lot of words: I need a break now....
