I also value and love friends, family, wholesomeness, big hearts and minds, healthy good food, good films, learning new things, TED Talks and events, meditation, spiritual and psychological awareness and depth, sexiness and honesty, adventures / travel, and laughter, especially a child's giggles.
I love romance, and affection, and I also enjoy and am pretty good at cooking, being a handy man, and a host of other things like sharing and compromise and after years of work identifying and communicating feelings which gets that deep soulful connection for which there is no substitute. I am also a bit of an alpha male type with focused ambition, tenacity and perseverance. I am said to also be pretty heart centered and can be both compassionate and empathetic. I am not doing this match experiment because I need a woman... I feel that life is better in partnership with that special someone and that we are better as human beings in partnership. A woman who can appreciate and be as comfortable around high culture as well as low culture / luxury as well as simple things that often are so much more meaningful and satisfying. I'd love to find a glass half full person who likes nature as well as the city, good conversation, getting ahead by doing good things for others near and far, caring for self and others, knowing what they want as well as being ok with not knowing, a person who likes to learn and share and who is also happy with what they know and do and with me being their biggest fan.

I'm sure many of you probably have a hard time at this as well, trying to describe who you are and what your about in a paragraph or two.
So here's my attempt to tell you about me, I used to play a few sports , basketball (gimme) soccer, tennis,softball etc, I had been an avid jogger until I had a little jogging accident, had surgery, and have just started getting back or trying to get back into some kind of sport or physical activity that I enjoy and still do with all the injuries I've aquired over the years.
I like live music, dancing... well it may not look like dancing, people watching, out on the town, weekend trips, movies, musicals, etc. Long weekend trips to Santa Barbara and Slo a few times a year , awesome places, plus I have family and friends there as well and up to Southern Oregon, rafting, boating, fishing on the Rogue, also an awesome area. plus there's the local area's as well. Next big trip is Brazil bound, hopefully August of 2013.
What im looking for? Someone suggested I list exactly what I'm looking for so there's no confusion so to speak, but I think we all have a general idea what we want and are looking for, but there is always the grey areas and possilbly new and surprising things that we did or did not know floated our boats, but I assume like most people there's the honesty, trusting, good communicater etc. A good balance between family time, friends time,my/your time and our time, that your very comfortable in who you are, as I am very comfortable in who I am., , Have a great sense of humor, mine is a wee bit on the sarcastic side. It's all about having fun, and if you can't laugh at your self then you can't laugh at others, but it all comes down to chemistry between two people, unfortuneatley thats hard to get a feel for off a profile. Be ready for a relationship, have found yourself, all issues with your children and you dating have been resolved, So if your interested in a coffee,drink,chat, email etc drop me a line.
Honestly how much can we tell from a few pictures ( I hate getting my picture taken) and not sure why, maybe light sensitive I seem to have my eyes closed in alot of pictures,. not sure why I do that. lol, a couple of paragraphs, on who we are or how we want to be preceived? It's all about having fun, meeting new people, broadening our horizons, and hey if you meet someone special, great, if not, you may have a new friend or at least an expierence good or bad.
