I'm sure many of you probably have a hard time at this as well, trying to describe who you are and what your about in a paragraph or two.
So here's my attempt to tell you about me, I used to play a few sports , basketball (gimme) soccer, tennis,softball etc, I had been an avid jogger until I had a little jogging accident, had surgery, and have just started getting back or trying to get back into some kind of sport or physical activity that I enjoy and still do with all the injuries I've aquired over the years.
I like live music, dancing... well it may not look like dancing, people watching, out on the town, weekend trips, movies, musicals, etc. Long weekend trips to Santa Barbara and Slo a few times a year , awesome places, plus I have family and friends there as well and up to Southern Oregon, rafting, boating, fishing on the Rogue, also an awesome area. plus there's the local area's as well. Next big trip is Brazil bound, hopefully August of 2013.
What im looking for? Someone suggested I list exactly what I'm looking for so there's no confusion so to speak, but I think we all have a general idea what we want and are looking for, but there is always the grey areas and possilbly new and surprising things that we did or did not know floated our boats, but I assume like most people there's the honesty, trusting, good communicater etc. A good balance between family time, friends time,my/your time and our time, that your very comfortable in who you are, as I am very comfortable in who I am., , Have a great sense of humor, mine is a wee bit on the sarcastic side. It's all about having fun, and if you can't laugh at your self then you can't laugh at others, but it all comes down to chemistry between two people, unfortuneatley thats hard to get a feel for off a profile. Be ready for a relationship, have found yourself, all issues with your children and you dating have been resolved, So if your interested in a coffee,drink,chat, email etc drop me a line.
Honestly how much can we tell from a few pictures ( I hate getting my picture taken) and not sure why, maybe light sensitive I seem to have my eyes closed in alot of pictures,. not sure why I do that. lol, a couple of paragraphs, on who we are or how we want to be preceived? It's all about having fun, meeting new people, broadening our horizons, and hey if you meet someone special, great, if not, you may have a new friend or at least an expierence good or bad.

Date someone special from Sonoma, United States. Would like to meet someone to go to the ocean and mountains with for skiing or camping, backpacking or hiking. Used to be a ski pro at Winter Park Resort and Vail, Colorado, partly because I spoke Spanish. Love to travel and want to do more of it someday. There is much to do right here, close to home too. After reading some very descriptive profiles, I felt like mine was not up to par. There is so much more to say to a potential partner in life. I have a kind, loving soul. Plus, sports or dancing and physical workouts for work or play are essential for my well-being and happiness. Along with that I am a passionate person. Fiery passion brings excitement, both good and bad. So if I am pushed too far the wrong way, you will probably hear some of my wrath. Don't worry. It is short-lived. Where there is friendship, common interests and mutual respect [the most important], there is hope for a great relationship. Being able to communicate is key. Yes, I have worked on myself and processed stuff.
Please read with tongue in cheek. About Jesus... I used to think He would be the best partner in life, so instead of taking the vow of poverty and living at a convent, I went out with someone like him. The problem was that he often didn't wear shoes, never bought new clothes, didn't get a regular job and basically lived on hand-outs. His faith was so strong that he didn't plan ahead, but lived in the moment. That was fun and disconcerting. He kept throwing these big parties that I felt I had to cook for. They were enjoyable and I met many people. Often there was too much wine, not enough water. We never went skiing either, which was OK, I guess. Eventually we had to let each other go our separate ways. We are still friends, but I am over my fascination with Jesus. Beards are still good.
Places I enjoyed traveling to in the fairly recent past: Tulum, 2007, Aspen, Ireland Norway, 2010, Cadiz-Sevilla-Salamanca, SPAIN, 2011, Costa Rica, 1984(over-due for a visit) Yosemite (over-due also), Tahoe, July-2012, Harbin, 2011, Yuba River, Salmon Creek beach, Would like to go to a cozy bar with a great restaurant along the Pacific coast or in the mountains, preferably with fluffy beds upstairs and a crackling fire in the hearth, with rain drops hitting the roof. If we are happy together, any place is fine.

Fathers with kids great! I am an avid kid crazy Mom and Professional Nanny, it is second nature to me. I buy stock in velcro and duct tape...LOL You don't have to have kids but you do need to like them and be willing to understand that my girls 16 and 20 are a high priority in my life.
