Date someone special from United States. I am a little out of my comfort zone using an internet dating site but here goes. I was a non paying member for a while and have reached the point where I am ready to move forward with this adventure. I would like to meet a lady who would want to move slowly towards an LTR.. Also someone over 10 and not a guy, who I could enjoy the outdoors, a nice dinner, and a long conversation with.
I enjoy vacations in warm places with golf courses and beaches around. I could probably be classified as somewhat of a locker room guy as I have always been involved in sports as both a participant and a coach. I enjoy almost all outdoor activitties. Golfing, Fishing,Kayaking, and Camping would be fun with a feisty lady.
I am a retired General Contractor/Builder. I was never really interested in school and couldn't wait to get out and go to work. Tried college for a year but wasn't good at it. But if street smarts count, give me a shot. I am an obsessive reader now as I think I am trying to make up for wasted time.
I have 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws (really my daughters now). and 5 grandchildren who keep me very active. They live close enough to see regularly and being a Grandpa is something that I enjoy more than I ever thought I would. Time with my Grandson is actually keeping me sane through this process.
I am almost computer illiterate as I had to have one of my younger friends take my picture on his phone and get it on line, so if some of the answers below seem a little short I apologize. I do better in person.
I am loooking for a lady who enjoys being physically in shape, her family, the outdoors, and enjoys one on one nights out vs. large social outings. I enjoy being around people I know and like, family, and meeting people, but if it is just hanging out to be social I have better things to do. I am not good at standing around with a drink in my hand , B. S.ing with people I don't know.
