What makes me smile is seeing really nice gestures by people. I smile when I accomplish or do something that is fulfilling which makes others appreciate what I have done. Listening to certain music which at the time puts me in a better mood.

Date someone special from United States. I have left the nine-to-five world behind, and am now exploring interests I seldom had time for. Writing seems to be winning out. It allows the imagination to come more into play.
I am a bit of a homebody when doing my research and writing. Grilled salmon, a glass of wine, and a DVD are likely to end the day. But I like to get out and explore. I enjoy going to different restaurants to sample various ethnic foods. The atmosphere and the cuisine have to match. Why go to an Italian restaurant to order a hamburger? Spending a couple of hours at the driving range hitting golf balls can be relaxing, or not. Same goes for tennis. I try to take in a movie, a melodrama, a stage play, or a concert at least once a month. Day hikes along the coastal trails are relaxing, but a great get-away is a week in the Sierras taking the cavern tours, and white water rafting down the American River.
So, what sort of woman would I like to spend time with? She has to be tall enough so I don’t have to bend over too far to nibble on her ear; physically fit enough to participate in a variety of activities; well traveled, or at least well read, enough to converse about other cultures (or politics); and patient enough to overlook my clumsy salsa dancing.
There it is, then. Let’s see what happens.

My friends would describe me as a kind and gentle spirited woman who enjoys being out in nature, taking walks, sitting on rooftops under the stars and someone who is blossoming in so many new ways. I am truely enjoying having my time free to re-explore activities I once enjoyed so much such as drawing, reading, going to the beach, creating jewelry and works of art. I am very fortunate to be at a great place in my life. I am financially stable. You are too. I think, speak and live in a healthy and positive way. You do too. I like to wear leggings/jeans and boots but feel comfortable and very much enjoy getting all dressed up when the occasion calls it.
Here are some things that I have never done and would really like to do in the future:
Go for rides in a fully restored old time vehicle
Attend a rodeo
Learn to barbecue really well
See the Northern Lights in Alaska
Meet a friendly horse (Now I didn't say ride, I said "meet")
Go trout fishing with a pole (I've used plastic bags in the past and they worked just fine but I want to learn to use a pole)
Go to Catalina Island
