Date a soulmate from United States. Everything happens for a reason, don't ya think? I'm on here because of my friend. After her tough breakup, I convinced her to venture out and try online dating, but she would only put up her profile if I posted mine. So I gotta keep this profile up as long as she's on here.
I like people who are smart, witty, outgoing and classy. If you can rap a tune like Lil' Kim, haha, well that's very special and I'll give you props for sure. Without sounding too modest, I'm generally a nice, good guy, and I make friends easily.
Random question: What are your pet peeves? I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours.
Meet people from United States. I don't think online dating is a big deal but am not afraid to try new things, so here it goes. I am almost 32, living in Santa Cruz and working 5 days/wk in San Jose at a job I really love (minus the commute). I have a dog named Bodhi that I got from the shelter and I adore! I love to surf and play guitar and garden. Writing about myself is not one of my strengths, but I am actually a good writer. I like to think about the deeper issues of life and I am always trying to figure out what it's all about. I have no trouble going after what I want. The hard part, to me, is knowing what you want in the first place. I don't have a whole lot of free time, but I would like to find somebody to hang with on weekends and some weeknights, who is chill and enjoys the outdoors. I don't come on very strong, but believe me, I am a barrel of laughs....: ) hit me up.
Date someone special from United States. I'm a serious person and want to be around positive, happy people. I am looking for a best friend and lover. I want to be able to spend time with someone outdoors, wake boarding, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, camping, cuddling and watching movies.
Meet single man from United States. I had recently moved to the area, so I don't know many people. I am just looking for someone to spend time with and get to know. I would like someone who make me laugh as much as I would make her. I am a nice guy, friendly and looking to know the people in this new city.
Date a man from United States. I am a mature kind of guy!im over the drama.I have a 3 yr old son who I enjoy spending as much time with.I am a family oriented guy., Im also the funny guy who likes to make people laugh when theres chemistry between one and another.

Meet a soulmate from California, United States. fun. easy going. new things that i haven't tried yet. hard working so i can enjoy doing things independently. take pride in myself. looking good and dressing nice for all occasions. you never know whats going to come up....
Date single man from United States. I am new to the area and would like to expand my social circle. I am professionally employed, and have a wide range of interests. I am particularly into classical music (I am a part-time teacher as well).
I am well-travelled and enjoy visiting different places. I like sports, both playing and watching, and enjoy going to concerts.
My new friends are often surprised by my incredible sense of humor (or cold jokes). Perhaps I look much more serious than I really am. A departing colleague just told me the thing he missed the most with me at work is cracking jokes - not sure if that's a compliment ^_^
Meet someone special from United States. I'm not super tall and I'm not a Guess model, so what. I believe I'm good-looking, but men aren't supposed to be pretty, women are ;)
So let's keep things simple shall we? I'll share some basics and if you'd like to know more don't be afraid to say "Hello" :D
A little about me: noble at heart, loyal, loves the outdoors, enjoys scuba diving, still likes to catch critters, still likes to climb trees, likes to tinker with cars, likes spicy food, coffee drinker, believes family is important, believes in the Second Amendment(and the others too!), enjoys archery, corny sense of humor, doesn't mind getting dirty, doesn't mind dressing up, likes all kinds of music, likes to ride a motorcycle.
My friends and family would say I'm dependable, funny, honest, a smartazz with a smile, creative, a nature boy, just to name a few notable qualities.
A little about you, possibly: confident, straightforward, trustworthy, social, adventurous, humble, doesn't think chivalry is sexist, can survive a weekend of camping without whining, takes good care of herself, REAL eyebrows, doesn't mind the fast-lane, respects and enjoys nature.
So if you're looking for a bad-boy, arrogant, loud, obnoxious jerk then try another profile. I'm no pushover and will rise to meet a challenge when deemed necessary, but generally I believe it only takes a second to be courteous. Having confidence, character, kindness, and honor are longer lasting qualities that most people take for granted, and some forget to even look for.
I guess I should explain the smoking part. I'm not a regular cigarette smoker, used to be when I was younger, but not anymore. I may occationally have a few with friends on a night out, which isn't often. Maybe a cigar on a special occation like New Years. Other than that, I really don't like the smell.
I'm not perfect, and I don't expect you to be either. It's about finding someone with whom your spirit resonates with, and theirs with yours, altogether making each others light shine brighter than they ever could on their own.
There's lots more and you'll never know unless you ask. Cheers!
Date men and women from United States. I suppose it is about time to update this profile, its been a few yrs so I'm now at the grand age of 33 still living on the monterey bay renting of course in the Santa Cruz area. I got delayed or set back a bit from the school thing but finally got all back in order and have after far to much time applied to UC, crossing my fingers should know by march. As for my biography so to speak I can't help but to think that it would be best to come to your own conclusions on who you think I am rather then me trying to convince or sell you on my perceptions, I'm aware I see myself differently then most people do be it good or bad. So, if you want to know more shoot me a line and we can see how it goes from there. Thanks
Meet a man from United States. I grew up on the east coast and since then I’ve moved around a bit for school (Virginia, Oregon, and Illinois). I finished grad school and moved here a few years ago. It's been fun so far, I hike and mountain bike a lot and I'm generally up for anything going on outside.
If I'm staying inside, I like to read - mostly non-fiction but I’ve been trying (and liking) some novels recently. Cooking is fun, too. Santa Cruz is great for trying new food. I'm a sports fan, my favorite sport/team depends on what season it is when you ask. I love going to live baseball, football, or college basketball games.
I like my job a lot. It’s challenging and I feel like I can do some good in the world with it. I’m in the environmental policy field.
I don’t have a checklist that describes someone I’d like to meet, but I do like smart women and dog-likers (I recently lost my old buddy, Edgar, a 13-year old shepherd mix).
Date men and women from United States. I am champion thumb wrestler (on my block), the fastest knife in my kitchen, a master of the art of quick bicycle wheel truing, and a super maker of coffee. I do burpees pretty quickly, and I think my kettlebell swing form isn't bad. I'm pretty good at losing office supplies, but I promise I won't take yours to replace my missing ones. Dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, but happy to call the Bay Area my home. I might be a little hammy at times, but know when I shouldn't be hammy.
I'm pretty happy about where I am now, but I also think that it's important to keep improving one's self-- I certainly don't think that anyone is ever really fully-cooked. I find my job fun and rewarding, and I take it very seriously. But really what happens after work can get so much more interesting.
I like a good story, and may be able to tell one too. I tend to geek out over certain things like fictions (science, or otherwise), post-modernity, and other less geekeable things like burgers, cherry tomatoes, men's fashion blogs, the cultures and history of punk and hip hop, the New York post-punk/new wave scene from the gritty 1980s Lower East Side, Swedish pop music, homemade ice cream recipes for my kitchen experiments, bicycles, and the Oxford comma.
I care very much about my friends and family, am loyal to them, and value their happiness. I try to understand how my actions and decisions, no matter how small, affect others around me.
I am quirky, thoughtful and other, and while I love meeting other quirkies, and other others, I would really like to meet other thoughtfuls. I really do think that generosity and magnanimity are very important-- they're things that I try hard to have (despite stumbling here and there), and I hope to surround myself with people who share a little bit of this concern. I would appreciate meeting someone who I could have a great time with: somebody with whom I'd share inside jokes, who can call me out when I'm not being funny, who might sing the silly duet at karaoke with me, or who might form a deadly dangerous team with me on trivia night. It would be nice to be in a meaningful, serious relationship, so it would be great to meet somebody who's equally interested in the same sort of thing.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm a laid back, patient, caring person. I enjoy going out with friends around town as well as taking off for the weekend to explore a random new city, just because. I live and work in nature and always draw on upon it to ground me and keep me in touch with what is important to me in life.
I put family and friends very high on my priority list. I tend to put the people that I care about in front of my needs with out any forethought. Good or not, It makes me feel good to make the people around me happy before myself. I enjoy making people laugh and enjoy theirselves.
I tried this web site in the past and feel as though giving it another chance can't hurt right now.
