Date people from United States. I love my life and I try to make great memories daily but I would love to spend it with someone special.
If you have read the book - the five love languages - My love languages are physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation...
Love to know what your love languages are.
Relationships require building trust and being best friend... so I think a fun date would be riding bikes along the coast, followed by wine tasting and then if we're comfortable, out to a romantic dinner on the coast.
or... if you can ride, I'd love to take you for a romantic horse ride / picnic to a point overlooking Monterey Bay.
I like being healthy so I bike for 3 hours twice a week, work out, and ride my horses in the State Park that borders my ranch
I'd love it If you would join me riding my Arabian horses...I enjoy competing in long distance Endurance Races and I'm hoping to train in Dressage. (That's like making horses dance.)
I use to play in Jazz Orchestras so I enjoy finding an out of the way restaurant with a talented Jazz musician playing.
About work, I'm a Financial Advisor and integrity and honor are a given in my life and I assume in yours also.
I love active intelligent women that still have a heart for others.
Life is short and I love to tease and enjoy each day, so lets get off this web and start putting smiles on each others face each morning.

Date a man from United States. Hi there. I enjoy being an active participant in a vibrant community. I play music (African and 60's pop), design and build electric vehicles and relax in and around the Santa Cruz Mountains.
I'm somewhat driven to use my days on planet earth as fully as possible without getting too stressed out. I dislike wasting precious energy.
I spend a lot of my time on personal creative projects and just love it.
The only thing I watch on TV is inspiring, educational documentaries and Bill Moyers.
I'm drawn to creativealternativehealth conscious people. Fortunately Santa Cruz has plenty of that vibe.
I'm generally not worried about what others think of me.

Date a soulmate from Santa Cruz, United States. Hi, I’m Gary, I…
• Ask God to help me be the person my dog thinks I am!
• Am good at cleaning up spilled milk
• Question authority…including my own!
So in my “dogged (and sometimes messy) search for “love” one “AUTHOR(ity)" I like is Scott Peck, whose "The Road Less Traveled" describes “love” as “including feelings but more than feelings” and as “the willingness to extend one’s self for the spiritual growth of one’s self and of another” …so that one can be scared, sad, and even angry as well as joyful “in love.” I am very affectionate and strive to be emotionally attuned, honest, and focused on a truly loving relationship. I'm not perfect but here's who I am so far.
I believe we are all amazing paradoxes. I love both deep conversation AND lighthearted fun and wit, cuddling on a couch through a video AND singing and dancing amidst a "Cheers"-like community of karaoke friends … learning to dance together, exercising and basking in the endorphin rush that follows, and taking you in and being taken in by you as we share the ups and downs of each day AND yet honoring needs for solitude. I work hard and yet relax well.
I am a very youthful, fun, and fit man who's run 26 marathons and is still very athletic (primarily running and beach volleyball now), have done a wide array of sports and adventures, and am willing to try more…hopefully we’ll find some to share. I have travelled much of the world and would love to see much of it with you.
I'm intent on improving myself and doing my part for the world…including through the very governmental and religious institutions which get easily screwed up, even evil, and yet which I believe are crucial extensions of each of us for creating world unity and peace with justice (I consider myself a “progressive Christian,” affirming all belief systems which espouse “compassionate fairness” while focusing on Jesus’ message in my own spiritual practice). I stay news-knowledgeable and vote…sometimes more. I am doing various jobs as I study for my Marriage Family Therapy licensing exam, all towards developing my career which includes leading "playshops and adventure retreats" that help people gain insight and growth through challenging play and reflection.
So there I am…the “amazing paradox” of being “very fun AND very serious”…"seriously fun”? If you like me so far I hope you’ll try some serious fun with me as we explore our potential for a lifetime together on that “Road of Love!"
Meet men and women from Santa Cruz, United States. I'm grateful for every day. I believe in treating people the way I like to be treated.
I enjoy working with tools and with my hands. I recieve satisfaction though building or repairing something.
Date a man from Santa Cruz, United States. Writing an About Me is like the proverbial message in a bottle. All I can do is roll this up, push it through the mouth, cork it and toss it into the enormous and almost entirely anonymous Match.com ocean. On that basis, if you find any of the following intriguing, remember that it's the tip of the iceberg (not that I'm cold or anything like that).
If you're looking for someone who's sensitive, considerate, attentive, funny, smart, educated, worldly, accomplished, thoughtful, generous, knows his way around the kitchen, prefers a night in to a night at a dance club, would rather sit under an umbrella at the beach watching the sailboats and drinking chardonnay to running around in circles or endlessly pumping an exercise machine. I'd sooner choose to attend an equestrian demonstration than a tractor pull, have a group of friends over for dinner and drinks instead of going to a big party where small talk is the norm. I'd far rather endure sharp sticks under my fingernails than listen to a bigot. I will treat your feelings and desires as the equal (at least) of mine.
And, by the way, the 'Currently Separated' means 'never the twain shall meet again.' It was mutual and permanent, and we're both far happier that way.
I have B.A.s in English Literature and Archaeology, a Ph.D. in Anthropology. I make knowledge about how and when the human lineage became like us. I've done archaeological fieldwork on the coast of BC, southern central BC, the Sierra Nevada, the Saline Valley, the Central Valley, California's Coast Range, Israel, France, Australia and the Czech Republic.
I'm Canadian by birth and citizenship, but I've lived in California (for all but three years) since 1988.
I've lived in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Berkeley, Oakland, Alameda, Armidale (NSW), and now Santa Cruz.
I blog regularly as the Subversive Archaeologist, and find that I'm making a small difference in my discipline after a number of years wandering in the wilderness of marginality.
I have a very few good friends. I'm a little bit shy. I have a tendency to blurt and say dumb things to strangers and people I don't know well, because I'm afraid that I'll be thought a ninny (and, thereby, encourage strangers to think that I am one!)
I'm serious about camping. My favorite spots are warm freshwater lakes.
I'm a very good cook.
I don't exercise, 'cause I hate exercises. I'd rather play tennis (which I haven't done in so long, I don't even know if I could still hit a ball), or swim (but I abhor having to pay to do so and therefore don't).
I live alone. I have a 16-year-old daughter who's smart as a whip and pretty to boot. I know she'll go far.
I have no love-interest at the moment, which is why I'm here blathering away.
If I were you, I'd probably long since have stopped reading this.
If you like what's in the bottle, and you're not some scam artist, put the word bottle in your email subject line and I'll know you're real.
Meet single man from Santa Cruz, United States. Easy going guy nearing retirement but still very interested in my work who looks forward to the weekend for fun and personal connection. I love my home and like to share it with frinds. Let's go for a over nighter to the big city and hit all the culture a big city has to offer. Then let' take a drive up the coast and stay in a little town B&B. Wine tasting and picnic out in the fresh air on a nice day is a good way to connect with the person you really like to spend time and romance with. Could we take our little dog with us, I hope so.
