I've worked hard on myself and at my job and have created a happy, fulfilling life and am interested in someone who has done the same. Life can be crazy busy sometimes, but it's low on drama and at times I am amazed at just how fortunate I've been. Life is really, really good!
I enjoy spending time with friends grilling, drinking wine and talking about life. I like taking long walks by myself to clear my head and for fitness I do yoga and my exercise bike. I took up skiing about 4 years ago and have become hooked on snow and I've gotten my girls hooked too. My 10 year old is a skier and my 7 year is a boarder.
It's important to me that you are in good shape, enjoy outdoor activiites and live a healthful lifestyle. In addition to positive physical health, it's also important that you have a positive outlook on life. Yes, the world is complex and uncertain, but there is so much to learn, experience and be thankful for. I'm not a pollyana, i just think that we are each responsible for our own life experience.
I enjoy traveling, but these days I do it mostly for business--been in 5 countries so far this year. I'm looking forward to thread in more personal travel to continue to expand my own horizons. Just finished my first trip to Asia and would love to see more.
My life is pretty full with work and my kids that i adore, but what's missing is the kind of adult companionship that one just doesn't get from friends. I'm not into the high drama or the strong silent type. I'm really interested in surrounding myself with like-minded people who are successful in life, straight shooters, good communicators, open, and loving....preferrably someone who is a parent and understands how important it is to have your children around other adults who share your values.
I don't 'need' someone to do things for me or take care of me, i'm pretty good at that.
