Date men and women from San Pedro, United States. I just recently semi-retired and plan on working part time as an occupational nurse (RN) for local companies. I would like to meet a beautiful, sincere, and honest woman to share my life with - Someone who loves traveling, walking, and hiking. I live in San Pedro, CA and enjoy walking at the beach and in the local mountains. I like to cook and eat a vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat fish. I would like to meet a woman who enjoys exploring the spiritual side of life.

Date people from San Pedro, United States. Describe myself? Well, I've lived in Pedro for 29 years having moved here from the midwest/east coast where I had been teaching unappreciative college students the glories of mathematics. I retired 3 years ago after 26 years working as a software/systems engineer in the aerospace industry.
I would describe myself as a rather quiet person, definitely not a Type A personality. I preferred solving technical problems rather than moving up the management ladder. What do I do for fun? From the athletic standpoint, I golf, bowl, hike, and exercise at Bally's regularly. I used to play a lot of racquet sports but I'm afraid that may be behind me. Wouldn't mind getting back to ping-pong though. I love to play bridge, gin rummy, backgammon, and Scrabble. I'm somewhat of a puzzle aficianado - crosswords, sudoku, Middleton double-crostics, whatever.
By now you've figured out I'm not a nightclub/party person. Right! Prefer quiet evenings watching old movies or dining with friends. Listen to mostly classical music and classic jazz - Sergio Mendes, Buddy Rich, Ramsay Lewis, etc. I enjoy cooking and don't do too bad for myself..
Europe is my favorite travel destination. Recent trips include hiking forays in Ireland and
England (the Cotswolds - nice and flat). Would love to rent a car and tour the French countryside (with you). They say the vin rouge is pretty good over there despite Bottle Shock.
Meet someone special from San Pedro, United States. I'm fun and funny. Most of us take ourselves so seriously and sweat the small stuff. Life's too short so I believe in having fun.
Why are the only photos at work, then? Technical difficulites--don't ask.
I'm professionally accomplished (always wanted to know what that really means), fairly well-traveled and physically fit,
I'm best when looking at a sunset or playing with my dogs at the beach. OK, so I've seen Marley and Me 47 times and own alot of stock in Kleenex.
I'm the son my Dad never had, so I love sports. Some lucky guy will thank Dad for taking me to all those football, baseball and hockey games. Being the fascinating mystery that I am,however, I also love romantic dinners and being treated like a lady.
By the way if you know how to change the filter for the refrigerator door water, it will be love at first sight.
If we meet for coffee and there's a spark, who knows what can develop from there?
Date a soulmate from San Pedro, United States. I like to walk on the sunny side of the street. I am outgoing and energetic. I enjoy the theatre, dining out, movies, etc. Fitness is important to me. You can find me at yoga and pilates classes often. I am fortunate to live by the ocean and enjoy beach walks. I love to travel and explore.....my most recent trips were to Mexico, Japan and Brasil. I am a teacher in Los Angeles who works in a culturally diverse community. I have 3 grown children and family activities are important to me.I would like to meet a partner to share my life with. I believe that caring about another person enhances your life experience. I'd like to meet someone who shares at least some of my interests and is interested in a long-term relationship.
