When I was a small lad, nigh the age of eight years, I vowed to myself that if ever I were to use an online dating site, I would do my best to put forth an honest and genuine portrayal of who I really was. My first instinct is to mention the propensity I have to “live life to the fullest,” because I certainly have spent a LOT of time not dying in my 31 years so far. Perhaps I could mention my “fun-loving, easy-going” nature, because I’m pretty confident most people out there are categorically against all forms of fun, and also find it very difficult going places.

a mild-mannered software engineer, and by night, I am a light-footed dancing bandit (minus the mask and
cape).
I suppose a mask might not be out of the question given the right circumstances given my love for
theater, but most days it is all about the dancing. I do Lindy Hop as often as I can, at least
a couple times a month but if left up to me, it’d be once or twice a week. I’ve also dabbled in Salsa and
Waltz and am open to trying other forms.
I’m not all “indoorsy,” though. When I’m not dancing, I am also into skiing, camping, and hiking with
friends when the weather allows. When it doesn’t, I like to catch a movie, go see a play (especially
musicals), or enjoy a good book.
Travel is also important to me. Several times a year, I go to visit family in the Pacific Northwest and the
Midwest, go to national Lindy Hop dance camps and go to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland.
I have dreams of touring across Europe, zig-zagging to all the biggest spots by rail. I’d like to keep
travel a big part of my life going forward, so I’d love to meet someone who is interested in experiencing
other cultures as well.
